Hi John, In answer to your question ; the 26 miles range is what the car can achieve when run in electric only mode in typical use. When the battery % drops to a certain point, the engine will be engaged to take over powering the vehicle. By doing this, the car ensures that there is always enough charge in the battery to power the rear axle as and when it is needed. So, the select terrain active drive system will always send power to the wheels that need it - irrespective of battery charge % or driving mode. The car also retains the rotary control to select the driving terrain (Auto, Sport, Snow, Sand/Mud) which houses a button to lock the car in 4WD mode - this is not range limited, the car will manage the engine, battery, and motor to ensure that the car can always operate in 4WD.

Hi there, thanks for your comment. We have added to the description and replied to a similar comment on our 8x4 video explaining that on a short wheel base it will go flat on the floor, or if upright at a slight angle. On a long wheel base it will fit comfortably upright straight down a side.
