I am not sure what year your boat is but they everyone I have seen has a removeable panel where your radios are, the black plastic is not from the factory

Really curious to see the work you will be doing on Halara. Just wondering do you have a ladder. In case someone falls over board and needs to get back on the boat. Glad you mentioned the preference to the left on the prop walk. Ty

thanks for sharing, might I suggest microphones for your sound? Alternatively, if you are using Adobe for editing you can select "Make Close Up" in the Essential Sound panel, feel free to message me for more details or help

We are pretty new to this whole thing, but microphones have been added to the mix now. 😂

I just changed the cockpit floor hoses on my 37, those ones were not that hard to change, I need to do the ones on the bench next. Mine were terribly clogged

Nice job on the mast. Thanks for the video. I live on a Pacific Seacraft 37 I bought in San Diego as well. I've been living on it Mexico for the last 3 years and thought about pulling the mast this fall.... decided it can wait for the next haul out in a few years. Enjoy the boat!

Stop screwing around and use a shop vac and vinegar. Fill with clogged pipes heated vinegar, let sit, poke around with long wire or hand operated drain snake. and Vacuum the stuff OUT instead of forcing it down the drain, dang it! 🥲...Best wishes seafaring folks. Ill stay on the dirt and wave as you sail by. 😘 Im so nice at 3am and no coffee, aren't I ! Oh Ps Run a lil oil down that drain and break the valve free by opening and closing is a very small amount till it wiggles open. Dont force it or you can accidentally break it off or bend the connecting pipe, or worst case, mall or bend the bung. Have fun , be safe, Buy a couple extra life preservers just in case.

Not much wind but still a peaceful day sailing. Any day sailing is a great day. Great job raising the main sail, didn’t give up, next time it will be easier. Thanks for putting this video together and sharing it.

You sir are on the other side of the rock. When your dock is finished we will come pay you a visit.

Big step up from a Flicka to a PSC 37. What do you do with all the room?
@SailingHalara2 ай бұрын
We had 17 foot-itus, that’s for sure. We really loved our Flicka, with 1 exception really. The below deck was perfect for one person, everything you need, and not enough room for anything else. I suppose we should have looked at a Dana 24 but we figured why not take the jump to 37’.

We have a little Dana 24 moored in Everett as well and saw you underway on Tuesday, September 24. Hope to see you again out on the water.

Tan bark sails? Love your boat!
@barrybaker31953 ай бұрын
@@SailingHalara, yup, tanbark primary sails and black nylon drifter. Not sure which we had up at the time we saw you, but the wind was light so probably the drifter.
