Watched one of these T-28s crash at Keesler AFB in the late '60s while I was at the golf course adjacent the flightline. They were training Vietnamese pilots at the time.

I just looked it up and you are correct, Women Airforce Service Pilots WASPs. I had never heard of women flying B-29's before, thanks.

Ha, I'm old too. I saw a couple WASPs speak at our local air museum back in the 90's. I suppose they are all gone by now :(
