That happened to me in my kitchen once, just as I was standing *directly* beneath the lightbulb. It was a cheap, £1 bulb from a well known chain in the UK. Suffice to say, we didn't buy them from there after that.

I imagine that in her head, she quickly computed her response. 1) get upset and shut it down, or 2) “I’m doing a completely typical annual fireworks safety hit… let’s not take myself too seriously.” Or 3) “I am so glad I set this up so I could go viral.” The skeptic in me says “3”. 😂

Oh my gosh, the contrast between the easygoing reporter and the stoic, inflexible newsreaders is astounding. One seems to have bundles of personality and is easily relatable, the other two are like cardboard cutouts reliant on scripts.
