Good choice on hitting the Express Lanes at downtown Seattle. Once through the tunnel, you can see the I-5 Mainline traffic is completely stopped. You saved a lot of time there.

i am a huge fan of american roads (although i am not from america) and it amazes me how long it takes to drive one side to another in I-95

I am back again. I looked up the parkway on Wikipedia, and found that it was proposed by Franklin Roosevelt in 1925, while he was Chairman of the Taconic State Park Commission, but was not completed until 1963. In fact, I remember vaguely driving on part of it in the late 1950s, and already found it mesmerizing. Indeed, for anyone else who is immersed in this drive, the Wikipedia description adds a lot of useful information, including things to look for as you drive through the different counties. I always travel the one in Virginia. I memorize it so much.

Back in September 2013, I visited Orlando and Tampa, and took almost the entire stretch of I-4. The only part of the highway I didn’t take was the stretch between FL SR 429, and US highway 192, which made me miss out on seeing that Mickey Mouse shaped utility tower on the left part of the screen at 1:46:47. 😢

Hi ! I watched this video last nite, I started it at 11:00 pm, and got Done at 3:30 am this morning , I am from and live in Iowa, I been 2 alot of places on Eastern I80 and Middle iowa to des Moines, but never was West of des Moines. As a kid in the Early 70's now and then we had to go out close 2 des Moines and when us Kids got Antsy, Mom would say ' Get a piece of paper and start counting Semi Trucks, that brought back Alot of memories, and last nite I started counting Semis at the Tiffin Iowa area on the Video to Omaha, and i counted 2044 Semis , i loved the video, Have you done any videos out in Pennsylvania and West Virginia and Maryland ? I was out in them states with a Friend hauling cattle up To Minnesota in 1988, of course Cell phones and video cameras was not within my pocketbooks Range,
