I love the way you just let the rainbows speak for themselves. I would be like, "OMG! A rainbow!!! 🌈 So great to know you can do so much in 2 hours. You are saving me so much time planning. I wish I had found your videos sooner!

Thanks! We had no idea how much we would love this island. We had been to Maui and Kauai, but no one was really talking about the Big Island. I still can't choose a favorite, but the Big Island is amazing.

They serve breakfast on the island after the boat ride there. They served us breakfast sandwiches with cheese, cucumbers, and tomatoes, rolls, and drinks. Not what you would traditionally expect for breakfast, but it was still good. The BBQ lunch was delicious. Hope that helps 😃

Hello-we are going in Aug. Can I ask a "post ride" logistics question? Did you go back up after the the Flying Dutchman or stay below? I ask because my son (10) LOVES this stuff--and sorry to say, I have a fear of heights that don't make this zip line the best fit for me. I'd like to think out if he can do this and I can get back done in a different manner that doesn't leave him among strangers. (I've done chair lifts, so not worried about that part). Any additional logistical insight is appreciated!

The Flying Dutchman zipline is last so after we went we stayed below. We did see some people going down on the chairlifts so that might be an option. Go all the way up with your son and then let him take the zipline down and you take the chairlift down. I'm terrified of heights, but I'm so glad I did this one. It was so fun. Have a great trip!

Once you park, you walk out to the beach and go to the right. Walk down till you see the sand bars. Hope that helps 😃

That's a great question. All of the signs say the payment is for car parking. I'm not sure, but I would think that you would not have to pay the fee if you rode your bicycle in.

How far is the parking lot to the beach?

When you pull in, they assign you to a parking lot. It depends on which parking lot they put you in. We were in the parking lot just above the beach so we just had to walk over to the steps and walk down to the beach. It took us about 5 minutes of walking. If you were in one of the farther parking lots it might take a 15 to 20 minute walk. Not sure on the exact distance.

So you missed going to the Lazy river beach ?? You passed it multiple times , it’s probably the best spot in all of the Exumas ..

We wanted to hit the cut/lazy river beach, but Minn's Water Sports doesn't allow you to go that far. Man-o-war Cay is the farthest they let you go. We also ran out of time to fit it in. We are definitely going to do that on our next trip there. It looks so fun!

Amazing video. Incredible job with the drone. It changes everything when you see that kind of beauty from up above. Loved every beach. We just came back from Aruba and planning for Exuma in July. Stocking island part was insane. For the boat rental, any idea how much would be to hire someone to navigates those waters and go to Stocking Island? A kayak is the most I have done as far as riding in waters. Once again, amazing job.

Thanks so much. I haven't been to Aruba yet, but it looks amazing. As far as renting a boat and guide to stocking island, I don't know how much that would cost. We rented our boat from Minn's Water Sports and it was my first time driving a boat. It was really easy. They do have a page on their website that recommends people for charters and guides. @JordanOutside We were there for 9 days. Put 1200 miles on the ol Jeep and it seemed to go by so quickly. The guy at the rental place said we could have driven around the the island 8 times after he checked the milage. I'm really thinking we need another 1200 miles.

@@user-hu2jn7yt6g Wow, that's a lot of miles. I know we did a lot of driving too, but I didn't even look at how many miles. Such an amazing place to explore. We really didn't get to explore the Hilo and northeast side of the island. We are definitely going to make another trip back.

@JordanOutside We made it to the Hilo side. One thing that amazed us was the all the different climates the island has. We left Kona it was 80 and sunny. Hilo was chilly and raining. We went to Manau Kea. Made it to the visitor center. Road to the top was closed because of a snow storm. Crazy...

Which time of year were you there, and how much rain did you experience?

We were there in June and we had crazy rain with flooded streets, but we rented a Jeep and were still able to get around. It would rain for 4 or 5 hours and then it would be clear again. The locals said that was the most rain they had in a long time. The said it's normal to have rain in June, but not that much.

We rented the boat for 2 days. That was the perfect amount of time to explore. If we had rented for 3, we would of gone back to all of our favorites on the third day. Hope that helps 😃

theres another excursion without the tube ride....but you still get to do the flying dutchman. Is the tube ride worth the extra money? or not necessary? We will also be going to a water park too

We really enjoyed the tube ride. It goes way faster than we thought it would. If I did this again, I would do the tube ride. With that said, if you are hitting a water park too, you will be getting in similar rides, so I guess it depends on your budget and time.
