Great review. I have this similar knife in orange which I picked up 2 weeks ago. It has a D2 blade for $9.97 And I’ve seen this advertised but they are always out of stock. And then I saw the exact same on the Walmart site with a switchable clip in whitish gray. But now can’t find them in stock or on the site any longer.

good gosh if you want to carry this for self defense purposes, might as well go with glock 19 instead.

I wouldn't choose a double barrel if had only one weapon but as a second weapon it is awesome, like pair it with a pistol as a back up.

Nothing about this knife is tactical nor is it an edc knife. Why not show everyone how it performs at its intended task?
@MannixKnivesКүн бұрын
Depends on what your definition of "tactical" and/or "EDC" is; if your everyday cutting tasks involve using a lot of cutting edge, then this can be a good EDC knife, due to the reasons that have already been explained in the video. However, if the attributes the folding knife has is not what *YOU* want to consider to be "good," then, to *you*, it is "not a good EDC knife," whatever your criteria is. It works great for food prep! But I don't use it for that since I have fixed kitchen knives that won't succumb to food gunk getting inside of any mechanisms and I don't have to worry about non-food-safe oil contaminating the food. Thanks for watching!

You know how you tell if a revolver is out of time? When you pull the trigger it either fires or it blows the front of the gun off. Revolvers are good guns but by no means have less problems or less wear parts than a semi auto

I like the classyness of derringers, but they are WAY HEAVIER than my 380, and alot of nines, and the one i had for awhile the top barrel always fired, the bottom sometimes, and the trigger pull for the bottom seemed twice as heavy. The only solution i found was two drops of break-free on the front and back of the hammer. Mine was EXTREMELY accurate at ten yards, with both rounds an inch apart and dead center with standard velocity 158 swchp's.

Does the liner will move more to the right inside the handle like a liner lock type knife or is there is something stopping the liner to deviate with time and pressure more toward the right?
@MannixKnives7 күн бұрын
I no longer have any compression lock knives, but from what I recall it works like a linerlock due to the tang of the blade being ground on an angle that times up with the liner.

I'm sure this isn't the case for you, but if anybody buys a $5 knife (I don't care WHAT $5 knife) and expects it to match up in quality to a knife that costs 30-40x as much, they're in for a rude awakening.

Mine just got delivered to me today (11/29/2024). I love it!!! I was thinking of a Large Voyager but decided to go with the Rajah III instead. First thing I noticed is the weight, or lack thereof. It says 5 oz. on the box. Feels closer to 4 ounces. I love the girth and shape of the handle. I've been getting into 4" blades for the past few months. This one at 3.5" seems okay to me for utility and self-defense. Another thing I noticed immediately is the tri-ad lock is much easier and lighter to actuate compared to either of my Recon 1s. I cannot use the lockback of my Recons with my index finger. I can on this one. It's still not as light as my Spyderco lockbacks though. Initial impressions are very positive. I need to use some wrist to flick it out though but that's okay.

Returned my mannix 2xl. Lock is ridiculously stiff. People on internet say work it for days to free it up. I feel that if spyderco wants their inflated price on day one then the freakin lock should work on day one. Bench made axis lock works like glass. Why is it plastic and there is an aftermarket of titanium locks? Oh yeah, installing one voids the warranty. Stupid design. Greedy spyderco isn’t worth it.

Was looking for a stylish watch kind of blade. Was looking for a cool Tanto hunting knife. The website Whatnot has auctions on homemade blades. So I requested a fixed blade tanto Bowie knife. They offered me just the thing I was looking for except with the added Nuance that it was Damascus Steel. And it just wasn't one it came as a bundle with a Cleaver in the exact same style. Well, I thought the Damascus was super gorgeous, and I don't really know what I was supposed to do with the cleaver, but something came over me, and I bought them both as a package deal for 30 bucks. Now that I have them in my hands and my hands are now covered in a mountain of gun oil and Saran wrap, I really have no idea what to do with this cleaver. After watching your video, it's clear that I'm supposed to just use the cleaver to process hunted food... So, thanks. 😊 I think the blades look phenomenal, but the handles are hideous, and the whole knife tang is contoured in the shape of a kitchen knife. Hoping I can replace this handle with something more... round...

when i first saw this color combo i thought it was FUGLY. but it is growing on me. the "little" judge might just be a thing to carry in your brief case or back pack if you can't strap it on your hip. i don't know about .410 for anything, but if it is loaded with 45 long colt, it should get the job done for anything you need a hand cannon for. i am thinking about buying the OD for myself as a birthday present.
