Thanks but still not working for me. So what I finally did after researching it take up the pump a few inches & gripped that while turning the top counter clockwise as you show on the video & it unstuck thankfully.

Thanks so much. The Australian packaging is even worse... narrower ring. Kitchen scissors came to rescue as have nutcracker like grip in handles. But, without your video????? Cheers.

The only downside is that you have to literally plug the vacuum cleaner to an outlet instead of charging batteries..

There is a telephone number on the bottle I bought from Walmart. I called but they are only available during office hours. The bottle I have has a ring too small to hold onto. I used needle-nose pliers to hold the ring while turning and then the dispenser popped up very quickly.
