You cant expect snow and weather to be easy both at same time. Srinagar has very less snow and it usually happens in february. It will be extreme cold.

The winter in kashmir start from november upto march and it can snow anyday and anytime in between. Like its monsoon in rest of India if i ask if it will rain in Delhi on 25 July 2025? I dont think anyone can answer that. Yes there are chances but you will have to wait and watch. Weather is not in anyone’s hand.

3 star Range between 3000 to 10000 per night, 4 Star between 12000-25000 per night 5 star between 35000-60000 per night. Guest houses 500-3000 per night. Kargil road will be closed anytime from november and open in April next year so dont take the risk of going there in winter.

Dal lake is spread to many kilometres and dont think that whole Dal lake will freeze or ever did. Only some part of lake freezes especially near banks. Also it will depend on the temperature if it touches -10 degrees or below. Now i think you need to hope if it happens you may see some part of Dal Lake frozen. But trust me if its cold like -10 degrees you will think twice before going out of your hotel room. Regarding snowfall its there now but will it be there on 25 december will depend on future weather. Normally all the places mentioned in this video except gulmarg may be closed after 10 December due to heavy snowfall and re-open in March or April.
