I was there in 1980. Where can we browse the photos takrn during the first MOR. We were the few Malaysians attending the event. Some were right below the main stage taping some of the songs. We are now 64 y.o.

I love the new recordings, I think Asami's voice is even better. Love the attention to detail on the guitars, you can really hear all the small nuances in the sound. Just like their covers of "Pain Killer" and "Eagle fly Free" they stayed true to the original release and covered it as close as possible with a few extra details in the drums and bass, etc. Fami has proven herself 100% over and over, between the album performance and all the live shows and festivals she is 100% the lovebites bassist.

LOVEBITES - M.D.O. lyrics: After came the permanent disaster A tragic neurological disorder Turning me into a crazy monster Inverting what I see to be imposters “Never have I seen this” said the doctor Observing my condition and I wonder Beauty’s in the eye of the beholder But maybe it’s because of my disorder Burning me to sin Is this salvation? Deceive those who are seeking truth Believe only the justice in you Naive thinking will lead to doom Betrayals don’t ever come from your enemies M.D.O. After came the permanent disaster A tragic neurological disorder Turning me into a crazy monster Inverting what I see to be imposters “Never have I seen this” said the doctor Observing my condition and I wonder Beauty’s in the eye of the beholder But maybe it’s because of my disorder Turning me to rust Is this damnation? So free, blinded by ugly truth Agree only to your point of view Defeat bigotry and its rules Don’t trust what you see, but believe your enemies M.D.O. SOLO: midori / miyako / both Burning me to sin Is this salvation? LOVEBITES - Rising lyrics: Failure or pride? The fear deep inside Success doesn't come with a few empty tries Fortune and fame, seem easy to claim But those who've succeeded defeated the pain Why give up on a life that you love? Play the game with no shame till the very end RISE AGAIN - though you're broken and scarred... You can choose, not to lose, you can build it again! DON'T LET GO - of what's deep in your heart You are free to fly, go and change your destiny! Too late to change? The past will remain But it's up to you to decide on a name Glory is not what miracles brought The path you have taken will lead you the way Why give up on a life that you love? Play the game with no shame till the very end LIVE AGAIN - with the vows in your heart Even if you get lost in the darkest of nights DON'T FORGET - that you've made it this far Show your scars with pride and believe your history... Sometimes we can't see the light anywhere Sometimes we don't have our luck in the air Almost like we've been left by ourselves I'm alone, you're alone, somewhere in the world But open your arms, look up and you will see an endless blue sky l believe, you believe, we will live out today So it leads to tomorrow! SOLO: midori / miyako / midori / miyako / both RISE AGAIN - though you're broken and scarred You can choose, not to lose, you can build it again DON'T LET GO - of what's deep in your heart You are free to fly, rise above your fate! LIVE AGAIN - with the vows in your heart Even if you get lost in the darkest of nights DON'T FORGET - that you've made it this far You are free to fly, go and change your destiny! ----- lyrics: asami music: miyako arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami) album: Clockwork Immortality 12/05/2018

I wonder if they attract a younger audience in japan.
No matter how many times I listen to it, this song is still insane.

I am 51 years old 😢 I saw Lovebites in Belgium and I scream, sing along, raise my horns and lost my voice 😂 and there was a lot of old metalheads too, very few young people and women 😮 Lovebites pays tribute to 80's metal and bands like Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica or Megadeth so their audience is also of that time
@nwlondonmetaller34274 ай бұрын
@@Jean-pierreDenis-df7df you noticed it as well, very few young people and few ladies. Lovebites are great performers, but I felt the crowd wasn't fun. I kind of prefer Thrash Metal to Slam Metal gigs. I have just turned 52 years old.
@nwlondonmetaller34274 ай бұрын
The Garage was a much better venue compared to New Cross Inn. Lovebites are great performers. The crowd near the front was very still, not very fun, different to the usual Metal gigs i go to. The audience was strange for me, mainly men over 40 and very few ladies.
@QuietTrailsUK4 ай бұрын
I’m 35 and definitely felt like one of the younger people at the garage, which was a bit odd. It saddens me to think what the live music scene will be like in another 10 years or so. Lovebites should be bigger but the appetite just doesn’t seem to be there among the younger crowds anymore

I was there about 5 rows from the stage, in between Asami and Miyako, they were awesome, a bit difficult seeing Haruna at times because of the smoke, but otherwise my night was pretty good. And was back in Nottingham for 3.30am 🤘🎤🥁🎸🎹🐺

According to the latest scientific research, we Homo sapiens have a bit of Neanderthal DNA mixed in. I love this rhythm. Maybe it's my inner Neanderthal spirit responding to these primal sounds.🤘
