Oooh…. I want!😮 I imagine the Deluge, with its small screen and lack of dedicated buttons, is an instrument that requires a bit of dedication to master.

Getting back to basics! Love it! OctaMED Soundstudio was super awesome on the A1200 (The sequel to this one I guess)... can't remember but 64 tracks? could play 14 bit (AHI) and render the audio to a 16 bit fileformat (Wave .wav)... and had so much stuff... ---edit Wow never ever thought of loading "raw" data into the sample editor and pick the samples directly like you did... I always thought it was compressed (but sure, lossless compression on sound data was not a thing those days I guess)... I had Action Replay cartridge (MK3 I think...) that could rip every sample in memory directly and save them, it could also find "mods" and save those too (which was prefered because then you got some Soundtracker/Protracker sample edit/fix also with the sample ofc and the score)... I learn something new haha!

I'd love to see you go through the process of porting on of these modules to vcv rack and use that as a dev env for testing changes before dumping the firmware out to hardware.

Thank you for sharing Michael, I've wathed this video maybe over 25 times. It's a unique way of working with video podcast. If you just don't want to waste too many time on post video editing. My plan is to pre record my solo talks, reading from my script, make mp4's and add them laster in podcast in Reaper (yes you can edit video in Reaper). And then while recording the podcast, I will use my streamdeck and switch scenes in OBS. So in the end I have two video layers: one layer with pre-recorded content and a second video layer I recorded while podcasting with my guest. Then edit it all in post. Other ways to edit your podcast; - Using MULTICAM in Davinci Resolve kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6aTiaJ9rLRsgKc - Edit Your Video Podcast in Real Time Using OBS Studio kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4mwmJhogK-Widk

I have been trying to build a business for the last 4 years and it proved impossible to maintain a video per month on this channel. I'm active on Discord and do weekly live streams if you're interested - I occasionally steal a day to make something artistic. I'm hoping to put up a video of a music project soon. Here's the discord: squares.tv/discord

I've been building my OBS Suite out to do something quite similar, with a few more bells and whistles. There is a ton of content on the tech side, but not much on the production side. While I'm quite happy to riff my way through a conversation, I have been struggling with figuring out how to deploy the overall sequencing to make a polished final product in the least amount of time and hassle. You absolutely nailed that topic, and it was exactly what I needed. Thank you so much for making this video!
