Hard for me to like this version. White guy singing about police racism and changing it from reggae/island to a bluesy rock. I want to like it, but......

65Superhawk well judging from that profile picture if that's you it must be hard for you to like in a mirror too

would it change things if it were a black guy singing about police racism? ya racist.

I'm a white guy playing, blues, rock, country, jazz, folk, etc. Should I just stop. A brilliant guitar playing homage to a brilliant group like Toots and the Maytals brothers you.

Amazing that such a great tune has gotten so little exposure here.

This performance reminds me of something I recently heard Dr. John (Mac Rebennack) say: "Observe: real songs being played by real musicians - with real instruments!" And you can hear it. Real brass. Real Hammond w/Leslie (or a pretty good sample). Real talent. Unfake-able.

Probably because Colin never cared about becoming an international star, outside of Canada he is almost unknown.

Then why are you here? To show everyone what a douchebag you are?

Words cannot express how much I love this song. I am currently doing my PhD work right now, and sometimes I feel like I'll never see the light of day stuck in this office. I cannot express the number of times this has been thrown onto my iTunes at 0430 a.m. by myself as I am finishing a paper in a completely empty university.

Resembles Toots' later version from "Light Your Light"; great job. I'll be watching this dude in the future.

man, why isn't there more of him on youtube? and why is it that what is on youtube is not getting the hits he deserves? :/
