Bill Monroe and Wayne Lewis made a fine duet. Their voices blended well.

"Till the End" is a song co-written and recorded by American country music artist Vern Gosdin. It was released in June 1977 as the third single and title track from his album of the same name. Janie Fricke was the featured female vocalist on the track.

I met Vern back stage at "Gilley's" one night and talked for about an hour, and I'll have to say that he was the nicest and so down to earth entertainer I ever met. His music will live forever.

I'm tickled to find out Tex Logan wrote it. Also intrigued to learn he was a scientist (checked for details on that: Logan studied au MIT and Columbia and had a PhD in electrical engineering.

Reminiscent of many years ago in the little log cabin in the mountains ---where we laughed and played, but also there was work to be done‐‐ for even the little ones. In the evening we often read Bible stories and sang of the Saviour . Precious memories indeed! 😮 ..precious memories indeed!

What a nice surprise to have KZbin recommend this. I’d only ever heard it sung by Emmylou Harris, and didn’t know Mr. Monroe had been doing for a couple of decades prior.

We opened for Vern in Santa Fe NM and after the show we all hung out at the hotel and sang songs I’ll never forget the harmonies from so many good singers my band also had two brothers what a gift from above it was that night . I’m definitely blessed to have had that experience.
