Ah, man I myself once got my ex-girlfriend an appliance as a present. Only difference was, it wasn't our anniversary, it was her birthday---and Valentines Day. I got her a blender, since she loved smoothies and milkshakes (and me too, so I thought she could make us some whenever she felt like it). Plus, I deemed it a symbolic gift: it represented the blending of our miracles---having found each other. She didn't like it so much.

@@johnrainsman6650 debating to even answer that, just so you know non unless a woman is into DIY like 4 days a week we do not care for house appliance or furniture or anything to work on, if you do not know what to get for a birthday get a romantic massage or spa day, a basket of favorite snacks and drinks if you are on a budjet

@@carolhart8276 I think my blender was in fact romantic. For one thing, certain mixes are not right, but they can still work. For example, I think Peanut Butter banana smoothies are gross. Ooh, and I hate pumpkin shakes, the type you could get at Starbucks or fast-food restaurants during fall. Well, somehow these things that _shouldn't_ go together in a blender _do_ go together--and can even be liked by people. That was another thing the blender represented--how my ex-girlfriend and I, despite being so different and having plenty to argue about, made our relationship worked. In spite of the realistic and logical concept that we shouldn't be together, we fought through it because we _do_ belong together (or did, since she's my EX-girlfriend now). I thought that was a very clever, charming idea to associate the blender with. She didn't see it that though, for whatever reason. She seemed offended, actually. I just don't get why
