I want to add a little information about this matchup. The fact that Yaoshen came to me with 2 scarabs from the very beginning was the right move, because scarabs buy the necron too much time to develop. You just need to continue the game with a hard t1.5 push using flyds. Because tau are very vulnerable at t1, they have nothing to repel this push if you do everything right. Excellent games, especially that first one. Oddly enough I really like Moonbase as a map. It's just a very easy map to wrap my head around. ;P Also the damn Pizza Tower music that plays with the Steel Legion always amuses me.

How did you lose??!?!? SL utterly decimate tau in the t1. I played this matchup similarly with Grindan many times, and 2x horses should have very easily won the game. With the horses I also get a commisar for detection. Let alone t2. Mass stormtroopers do just enough to kill many of tau's inf, and have decent structure damage. Sentinels should have been the cherry on top too. Their autocanon damage to most units is crazy high. Still a very good game but still goes to show hopefully SL will receive the necessary nerfs in future version.

It was worth participating in this tournament just for the sake of the match at Moonbase

That first game was very different. I mean, it was fun to watch so I'm not complaining, and nice to see so many spells going out from the Thousand Sons. As for the Chosen taking out that tank, their Inferno Bolt Pistols they can get in Tier 3 actually do some decent anti-vehicle damage. A fully reinforced squad of them focusing it down is going to do work.

The 2-0 result in the end really doesn't give credit to how much back and forth was going on. You and Yaoshen both did great. Excellent show.

Why does the Lieutenant colonel, a generic lord, have 1630 hp which is more than like 3 different chaos faction lords and other heros but the Lord Regent has only 500, the Lord General's 650, the Imperial Governor's 450, and whatever it is for the praetorian leader? Plus he gets orgryns? Makes no sense
