I have a 2080 for context. But I think for how beautiful this game is, its extremely optimized. There are a lot of triple A games out there that look half as good as this that give my pc issues & frame drops. There are issues but no where near what we see from popular releases. This is a no bs, simple, good game.

And yeah, ive been in the same boat - played less attractive games that ran like an asthamtic badger... theyve done an amazing job optimizing. I wonder if a lot of my probs on my 2070 super machine might be the HDD or maybe the age of that machine... its never had issues with other games, but yeah it was still such a great experience.

I play this game on GTX 1050 Ti, and it actually runs well. The only downsides are the graphics.

I was on the fence about watching this because I wanted to go into this game as spoiler free as possible. As someone who loves space as well has having a CDL, this game caught my eye a while back. Regardless, I'm glad I checked out your review and now I'm even more excited to play this some day!

Things that might happen according to this review. NPC: Hey look the player is about to dock let’s slam into them for immersion reasons. Game: Oh you slammed into a piece of paper because you can’t see clearly while going at 0.5km/h? Hull breach it is!

I started in June 2020. I've fallen out of it unfortunately due to friends no longer being interested. Started off as a Scout but changed to Engi because turrets are awesome, and same with the mini nuke grenade launcher! Fantastic game and fantastic video

hey it's not working for me. do you mind if I email the files to you? help me find the problem? I put rgb on and added a alpha channel, exported as a tga file to the folder and had the right resolution for each. 64 by 64 and 64 by 96

Hey again CJ! Ive checked the files and i think youve done everything right. The only thing i noticed was with the badge - when i tried to export it it came up with RLE compression on... not sure if yhat was a setting on your side or potentially a preference on my system. Fab, thx for showcasing. Loved cards, sigils and slavic folklore in Blackbook and both Thea parts. Know Thaumatugy from Pratchet's Discworld and dig shows like Dresden Files, Diablero, Dark Gathering and South of Hell. But as with Vampyr is seems a mixed bag. Will dig into, cheers

Nice video! I just did a review of the thaumaturge myself and i think we walked away with a lot of the same conclusions. Especially how detective work in this game is just gathering evidence and handing it to somebody else.

Honestly it was my first thought and it had a lot to do with my decision to get it. Shadow Hearts 1 and 2 are still my favorite games. Hopefully Penny Blood will find a publisher.

It is a good thing this game punishes the player for going in guns blazing, I got tired of people choosing the loud option 99 times out of 100 even though the stealth option is much easier and more efficient.

I love the homerworld series, and this is not a homeworld game, story realy realy sucks, graphics is good, animation is horrible, gameplay meh, they change everything that u cant feel homeworld in it. Disapointed lost my money buying this.

The nick name of the mothership shall be “death Doritos”. And if I played a game that allows you to capture enemy unit, then I would play the entire game only by using captured enemy assets. Too bad people don’t do these type of strategy more often.

Every time I'm playing one class, I wanna play another class. I would be having a blast as gunner, but then I just get the urge to tunnel through to the other chambers , or I would see a wall crawling with bugs and I just wish I was engi with a fat boy grenade. Every class is just so danm fun 😔

Solid agree. There were rumours a while back about a 5th class being added - it never eventuated but i was curious to see what other possible role they could develop... ? Field medic ? Tamer (pet class) ? Town drunk Hard to imagine!
