great pattern, but I am I the only one going crazy because of the bracelet sound on the desk? UGH lol

So i just found this video and clicked on the link for the cardigan pattern which is no longer available. 😢😢 This looks so similar to what I'm attempting to make my boyfriend from scratch. Do you have a written pattern or anything similar you could suggest? I've started over and over and I'm just so fed up that I want to frog it and give up. 😢

Hey! The link might have changed, but I found the pattern for the sweater here hearthookhome.com/product/cozy-coed-cardigan-crochet-pattern/ hope it works for you!

I would love to try this but I can't see what you are doing the lighting is bad and I don't know what a corner looks like, I have made hexagon sweater before but I have no idea what and where you are putting your stitches. :0(

I’m struggling with the side where the rows meet- I’m getting an extra stitch every row. I’ve tried a few times and I’m not sure where I’m going wrong. Any tips?
@StitchesandScribbles20 күн бұрын
That is definitely a tough spot! When I join rows and start a new one, I double check to make sure new stitches line up with previous rows. I also originally learned this stitch from TL Yarncrafts' tutorial for a linen stitch square and found it really helpful!

im your size.... i am so happy you made this... what size hook did you use and how many rows did you do on your hexagon before adding to it, please

I know you said 2 sequences plus 2 rows?
@robintomlinson99262 ай бұрын
6.5...im just slow. lol
@StitchesandScribbles2 ай бұрын
Hello! I used a 6.5mm hook with worsted weight cotton yarn. I did two full rotations of the stripes repeat, plus two additional rows of orange. Since each repeat is 11 rows, that means I did a total of 24 rows on each hexagon before seaming it up. The sequence is as follows - 4 rows orange 2 rows lavender 1 row brown 1 row cream 1 row brown 1 row cream 1 row brown 4 rows orange 2 rows lavender 1 row brown 1 row cream 1 row brown 1 row cream 1 row brown 2 rows orange Then seam the shoulders/arms, and then the back seam to join the two hexagons. Then you can continue to add length to the sleeves and body as needed. Hope this helps!

@@StitchesandScribbles heck yeah that helps, do you like the 24/7 cotton yarn? or i love this yarn cotton better
@StitchesandScribbles2 ай бұрын
@robintomlinson9926 I used the I Love This Yarn cotton. I went for that one because of the number of colors available! I think 24/7 cotton would also work really well if it has the colors you want!

The Complete Sheep Shop is part of the Illinois Wool and Fiber Mill. The owner is very nice. They have their own sheep so it may be from their flock. They also have a fiber mill which my friend and I were able to see and the owner gave us a tour. Her doggo was so sweet too. The building is on their property and looks kind of like a garage. If you ever want to check it out, I would recommend. 😊

Does the yarn have to be 100% cotton?
@StitchesandScribbles2 ай бұрын
It doesn't have to be! The scrubby yarn is definitely not cotton. I would recommend one that is meant for making washcloths though. You don't want something that will break down over time. Bamboo would be a nice alternative!
