Fantastic variety there at Denton Mark, caught some of these workings myself, all at Reddish, excellent shots and stills from you, noticed on a Wednesday you get the Dowlow Ashburys t and t and Ashburys Dowlow t and t so at Denton you should see the two more or less at the same time so if you add the Knowsley bins you get five Redsheds, just Wednesdays! Just arrived home, caught 66737 /723 on an odd working, i assume a Railtour, been back and fro all day! Believe they constructed a temporary platform at Tunstead Sdgs?! Did hear it might ryn on Thursday too!! Donr hold me to that though. Enjoyed cheers Nick.

Yeah nice to see 69004 first sighting for me of that particular one! 57308 was also a nice catch they’ve been running to Trafford for the past few weeks so I wonder if that path from Daventry is finally being used. There’s always a chance of them stopping here southbound and especially this time with the help from 2 late running Avanti’s.

Thanks! It was just under an hour late leaving, Firstly because the driver needed the keys to the cab and then it didn’t sound like the brakes wouldn’t release properly so they had to start from scratch, That’s what it sounded like anyway 🙂.

lol great video nice top n tail 66s, then convoy, lovely 2 tone from 66567 60 was very nice, that crossover was very good lol and nice power up from the 66 and 66040 working hard lol 70 on 2 empty container trucks

Many thanks! Yeah was interesting it was up at the signal waiting to leave for a few hours however when I went to see it there wasn’t much to see as it was Misty haha! Oh me too I liked seeing 69005 looked really smart and 70003 as I always like seeing a 70 one of my fav locos 😊 I think the next video like this will be the Hope valley and Drax diverts mixed in with the usual stuff so looking forward to making that 😁 already started it today actually with 66035 on 6H12 and 66156 66194 on 0D12 😀.

Thanks! Yes very good timing and even better I didn’t even know about 6M04 haha! Saw 063 yesterday on the Ashburys which went the long way round on its return. Oh the DC 60 was very good indeed! The only class 60 you’ll get up there now a days.

Yeah quite low this bridge I had a whaft of warm air from the exhaust of 66067 haha! You could 66028 from a mile away very loud! 171 the signal changed from Yellow to Green 😀

Thanks 😀 067 was very shiny! 028 ex frenchie too! It’s around the corner from the station you can get to it via the over bridge which goes over Hazel Grove Station or via the playing field on the other side it’s easy to see from a birds eye view on Google Maps as it’s the last bridge before the line reaches Hazel Grove High Level Junction, It’s a very old footbridge which has those metal slashes across it so plenty of gaps to put your phone / camera through. 😊😊😊.

Many thanks! Yeah apparently 602 failed the day prior at Watford so 416 came to assist, I’m glad 6L40 was autoballasters after seeing the endless Wascosa wagons on every engineers i’d seen so far this year haha!

I always see the CWR engineers haha, had one drop off rails at Davenport and behind my house on the 10th Feb!

Nice video . I have never been to Warrington bank quay before . On a normal week day do you get much freight pass through i would like to get some GBRF 60s on the biomass trains is this a good place to go .

Thanks 🙂 You get an okay mixture of freight on weekdays it just depends on what’s running really as it’s mainly runs as required, On an average day you get the DRS Tesco, Royal Mail 325, GBRf to Seaforth, Wilton Bins, 2 Biomass etc or you can go to Acton Bridge a little further south which is a popular spot as you get the stuff from Runcorn / Liverpool so it’s a little more busier, If you’re looking for GBRf 60’s on the biomass then anywhere on the Chat Moss Line west of Earlestown is suitable as you get both the loaded and the empties.
