Herbinfarmer did this method. My question is, now this would work with 5gl pots?

Your right. Growing cannabis is easy. Too many people thing it needs all kinds of different feeding cycles. I grow no till in New Mexico. All out doors. I don’t even ph my water. I just use organic compost and these girls have never had any problems. The temperature her can get up to 105 for days. They are more resilient than we think

Growing in the 80's was very different than today. Seeds were seeds, no fancy names other than sativa and indica. No lights other than the Sun, so only one grow a year where I lived. Cloning would have been pointless even if we would have known about it. Feminised seeds were not a thing so males plants had to be removed. But we did grow some nice smoke down under.

Product identification ! which is why we've found ourselves in a unique situation where if you try to look up a cultivar you're most likely going to get a cartoon picture first because it's brand recognition but what they're failing to see is if I'm buying seeds I don't care what your funny cartoon says about the cultivar I want to see what I'm going to grow and this seems to be the way it's going you're not allowed to see what you're going to get your only allowed to see and pick from a cartoon character picture 😡 FYI to breeders I refuse to buy anything that does not have an actual picture of the plant first ! I'm buying seeds I'm buying your genetics I'm not buying your product identifier ! Save that stuff for dispensaries not seed banks please and thank you !

So are y'all hand watering these plants with a hose and how many gallons per pot are you using?
@ronevergrow8319 Жыл бұрын
See you can skip all of this just putting it in the Earth ( dig a nice size hole measuring/ filling 5-gallon pots with the native soil so in the end you'll know how many gallons of soil is in that hole no matter how big you make it) once you dig your hole it's easy one tablespoon per gallon of soil is what dry amendments usually say on the back( all you have to do from that point as water🤷♂️) , so simple or no til cover corp everything... People make things too complicated🤷♂️

I would never buy dirt I would always use my native soil you'll never go wrong putting it in the Earth but you do have to know what to do when it's in the Earth to be successful

I know this is old, but you can use an enzyme like rootwise or slf-100 to break down stuff. You also need to focus more on the microbial life which would also feed off those sugars. You should also try supplementing your plants with dissolved oxygen. I like fabric pots, but they constantly dry out and if you allow it to get too dry, the dirt contracts around the roots and chokes them. Also with fabric pots, sometimes they start growing fungus on the sides which is not harmful to the plant, but looks unsanitary and gross.

Imo I think its a close explanation but not it. The roots air trim out of a cloth bag, im sure we've all seen it ourselves. Roots continue to grow and will circle if left to. I've seen plants seem to know the pot size or at least a 1 gallon compared to a inch or two of space. Cloth bags also provide aeration which is not an opinion also the fact better watering is not an opinion either and will lead you to better grows, those are absolute facts no grower can deny truthfully. You got people like me not looking for a buck so ill tell it like it is.
