I completely agree! That's what I love about my Yamaha YBS-52 Bari. On the BetterSax, there's adjustment screws almost everywhere else, but not on the right and left stacks

​@lucasrose2570 There's a lot to understand about Chinese instruments for sure 😂. For example, the bass sax and 2 of the tenor saxophones I own are Chinese. The bass is an incredible instrument, with great quality for the price. Same with the BetterSax Tenor I own. The other Chinese tenor sax, not so much. It is a replica of a Keilwerth SX90R tenor, and it is something. If you're looking at Chinese saxophones, I would recommend looking on Thomann's website, as they have their own line of custom bari's that would be great to play on. But if you were thinking about getting one from Amazon.com, I would still recommend it, but expect to pay a fair amount to get it working properly. This Mendini bari is 6 years old, with no issues other than the neck snapping off. They can last a long time with the proper care. There is so much more to choosing a Chinese sax, like personal preference and desired sound. I hope this helped clear some things up!

Thanks 😂👌! The middle D is a lot better than on vintage Basses, it helps if you add the palm D key when playing middle D and Eb. The mouthpiece is Michael Wilbur's Signature Bass Sax mouthpiece (the one designed for vintage horns. They recently came out with a new one for modern horns). It is a 6 tip opening, and I use a Legere Signature 2.00 reed on it.

Thanks for your respond! Yeah, I am using the palm key, but it's a bit lower. Mine came with a bari piece, but I'm using a printed bass piece. Plays a lot easier, I just want the sound to be a bit fuller. Looking at these specs, the only difference between that one and my bari piece seems to be the baffle. So I might just order a custom made bass piece. Thanks again.

Good afternoon one of the good properties of grease is that it is a very good sealant. It does not allow air to pass through it. So for not only the neck cork but also the neck tenon grease is good.
