Such a calming way to start the day with this reminder to stay curious and see challenges differently. I love the idea of asking, "What if this is making space for something better?" Definitely setting the tone for a mindful morning, thank you Katia! 😊

Educational video . A belief in knowing a life exists beyond is another component of that thought process if I remember correctly . Keep doing good work . Caio

I'm really sorry to hear that. You are so right though: there are small choices you can make -- as a start. Rooting for you! Have you considered meditation?

I've made many agreements in which I've been betrayed by others. I've made many more in which I've betrayed myself or hidden me from myself. I've worked on rectifying the outcomes of many of both types of agreements over the years. It seems that current events in my life are forcing me to now deal with the most powerful "agreements gone wrong" that I've yet faced, at what feels to me to be the very worst time for them to raise their ugly heads. Of course, the worst times seems to be THE times when these issues arise. Please wish me luck with mine and I wish everyone luck with theirs.

A rule that I gave to myself a long time ago is The only way to win the rat race is to not be a rat. I believe that keeping up with the Jonses is a big part of the trouble our culture is in.

I like that. Or the only way to win the race is not to run the race😊. Thank you for sharing!

I watched a video the other day where they suggested that if you have tasks that require deep thought, you ought to actually schedule Time for Thinking as part of your routine, much as you might schedule exercise or meditation. I find that even if I don't have a project, I still feel the longing for this time. Our environment leaves so little time for contemplation or focused thought, but I'm coming to realize that it's a necessity and am going to try to be more purposeful about taking the time to just...think (not worry - that's a separate time ;o) )

I love the idea of scheduling Time for Thinking! Thanks for sharing. I often schedule time for Deep Work (uninterrupted creative work--from Cal Newport's book with the same name), but I'm going to give your suggestion a try. I think I'll call it Empty Space :)
