Congratulations! Both Jodi and Chynna are so deserving of the Staff Recognition Award, and make the research world go round here at RSJH/SJHH.

Did he actually say that within 5-10 years we may have access to combination therapies that will flatline the disease??? Do the hosts have any idea of how significant that statement is??? Whether or not that exact time frame bears out, Dr. Kolb's statement means that the researchers are seeing things in how this fibrotic process works that is absolutely fundamental to producing a game changer in the near future. That is incredible news!! Perhaps not soon enough for those with the disease now, and nothing can do justice for all those who have lost their lives to this horrendous illness, but now we can realistically hope that it is entirely possible if not quite likely that within 10 or 20 years almost no one will need to die of this disease. God bless those who are making this happen.
