I'm in the same boat. I had reverse shoulder replacement and 10 weeks post op when I was finally making good progress through PT, I came down with an infection (Cutibacterium). My surgeon opened my shoulder washed it out but the infection came back. PICC line was installed today and I start the antibiotics tomorrow.

Agreed. The term participation trophy is used more as symbolism. These kids think they can just show up and they are supposed to be the same level as everybody else and recieve the same praise.

I have a full understanding of everything you are saying, but that doesn't tell the whole story. The reality is these Billionaires are charging more because people are still buying, No Matter the prices. We have a spending and waste problem af this country, but it's at the consumer level as well. Take Food for example. Everyone wants to complain about the prices of food, right? Yet 40% of our food supply is wasted at the consumer level. Why? Because people buy more than they need. What do you think would happen, if we put 40% of our food supply back on the shelves? Do you think supply would go up? If supply went up and demand went down. What do you think would happen? Do you think that would force suppliers to lower their prices to sell product? This is just one example.

In addition. Look at the Credit Card debt in this country. We are 1.12 trillion in CC debt. The average citizen is 6k in debt. That tells me that on a macro level people are not living at or below their means. That means demand is outpacing supply. Look at the retail sales report last month for example. Everybody is struggling to make ends meet right? Yet Electronics and Apparel sales were up 7% and 10% YOY. So people are hurting to put food on the table and gas in their car, yet retail sales are still up. Again, I agree with you that we print too much money. That is the obvious/cliche thing that everyone points to, but the reality is, we have a consumption problem that needs to be addressed. We have more control than you realize. The only way to change a dealers prices, is to not buy as much of their product. Our food waste, retail sales figures and massive CC debt is telling me that we aren't doing that!
