It's true! I bought a Phomemo printer and within two weeks of making the resin, the ink was washed out.

Thanks tons! By the way, an easy way to pick up rhinestones is with a wet Qtip. The rhinestone adheres to water only until you put it in glue, which has a stronger grip.

The outline color? Which one? The outline is a 3D resin and doesn’t spread around. All the other colors are UV jewelry resin. All the resin is from Sophie & Toffee.

I drew the design myself. I traced the mold on to paper then I started drawing. There is lots of Disney stained glass inspiration out there. I got my mold off Etsy. I should have bought 2 instead of one. This took forever to make! LOLs

This was so helpful. I just watched like a hundred videos on how to figure out how much resin to use in a mold and this one is so much more simpler than all the calculations (I hate math) and using rice which can leave a bit of rice dust so you have to clean the mold after instead of just letting it dry. So thank you so so much for this technique. ❤️❤️❤️

Easy and simple tutorial, I can do this tomorrow Easter Monday since I have everything except for the flower 🌹 mold and the string for the hole. Can I use epoxy resin on the phomemo printing words as I don’t like how the uv resin feel to touch after the project? Thanks very much for sharing 👍🏽

I have 2 of those molds:) I gotta look into that printer. Is it like a label maker? I find a little bit of resin on a toothpick helps me pick up small embellishments when I can't find my tweezers. I'm so happy to see experienced crafters fumble around makes you more relatable;)

I used super glue to tack it down. I lost the video of that 🤦🏻♀️ I was going back and forth whether to use glue or resin.

@@ResinChannel ooh interesting, I was about to get started on my second video for this box using the two parts of the mold so I’ll have to see how I get on. I am a bit skeptical how to seal the two pieces properly without leaks..🤔 But at least the mold we both used is usable on its own! 😊

Definitely! The single part of the mold was just like a normal shaker mold. I tried using both molds using the shaker film inside where the image was. It was so bulky that both halves didn’t close by properly.

It’s a gold marker pen. They have them in silver too. It was inexpensive - I got it off Amazon.
