Fun fact when I was 7 years I told my parents I wanted a Cuckoo clock heart like jack so we looked up cuckoo clocks and found one similar to the one in the movie so we got a surgeon and i told him what I wanted and we gave him the clock we bought and he said he could do it I was so excited 😄 so then I put on a mask that put me to sleep and when I woke up there it was my cuckoo clock and the surgeon started saying all the stuff I need to do like when I take a shower I need to put sheet over my clock so it doesn’t get wet so he gave me that and the last one he was saying was him saying that I can’t pull on it or fool around with it or it will hurt so I said ok and me and my parents left now that I am an adult I don’t know why my parents even agreed to let me go under surgery and replace my heart with this thing I wish I had a normal heart the reason why is because 1 In school everyone bullied me and called me cuckoo head 2 currently as I speak I can’t even get a proper job cause they All think I’m a joke 😡

This was such a beautiful way for him to die and i remember everytime i watched it as a kid it always made me tear up. There could be no better poetic implication of him going to heaven then him climbing the snowflakes and looking down at her one last time. 💚😭😞

I never understood this ending as a child

my ghost friend alexis's dying wish was to see this movie one final time. she had a brain tumor and only had three months to live. her wish was granted on the day she was dying. i was there with her the whole movie, holding her hand and staring into her hazelnut brown eyes, the eyes i would never see again. she looked so beautiful, so peaceful on her final hours. she passed away shortly after the movie ended, but i will never forget her. the saddest part of all this was that she was only 29 years old when the brain tumor took her. she was too young to be taken away, but that's how life is and you need to accept it no matter what.

This is one of my comfort movies, all of the songs on it got stuck in my head for years ever since i first watched it. It makes me sad the movie is not really popular, the art is beautiful, the story is touching, and again, the songs are amazing. I wish the ending was happier, but not everyone gets a happy ending.

I was like 9 or 10 when i read the book, and the movie was released in the same year. When i saw the end of the movie, i was so happy that was not the same end !
