Well today I learnt something. As a retired serviceman, I fully understand that the history, traditions and Regimental "quirks" mean so much. 400 years of Ottoman occupation and 400 pleats symbolising this is just amazing let alone the other info given; brilliant! Keep it coming.

First of all thank you for the video. You spoke a lot about the crowd .. yes like all hystorical/tourists places in the world Santorini as well know as a most crowdy place in the season. I really reccomend to visit Santorini in September/ April and you will see the difference. I hope next time u will visit Santorini u will able to explore "The Other"side. Go to a red beach, akrotiri lighthouse, heart of Santorini, pyrgos, megalohori village . You will be able to explore all amazing and unforgettable views but without the crowd.

You are Turk. Why you pretend to be Cypriot? You are 100% pure Turk Are you ashamed being Turk? To be honest i dont blame you but its ok your still a human being. Your big mistake is that Cypruss is always much hotter than Athens 5 to 10 degrees more. 🤣, and we all speak Greek.A Cypriot would never describe the video in English. As they say in your languge μπουνταλα.

Hello, I grew up in Naxos and you are correct the name is Portokali which means orange. It was in its prime when I was a teenager in the mid 90s it was a BEAUTIFUL building. This particular one is not decaying due to the economic crisis. I think the owner lost the rights or the property in a dispute with the Greek government. I don't know the specifics but its something like that

Great video! Interesting to watch you walk through that tunnel. Years ago, I had my grandsons with me the day I went & I kept banging my head on the tunnel's roof & the lads learned a few choice new words that day. There used to be a shaft with a ladder to the surface at the end of that tunnel. Been filled in, maybe???
