The way that hideaki anno treats deppresion, anxiety, loneliness with this series and the acceptation at the end is trully out of this world, good bye evangelion i hope we move on.

僕がサラリーマンを辞めて、二度目の学生を始めた頃にTV版が流れました。称賛、疑問、数々の波紋を投げかけ続けたエバが誕生から26年を経て完結しました。ラストのこの作品に関しての僕の感慨を表すとすると「いままで本当にありがとうございました。この最高の物語を締めくくる最高の作品でした。まだ余韻は残り続けるでしょうけど、多分僕も多くのファンもそして庵野さん本人もが、エバという美しい呪縛から一応の卒業を迎えられる作品が作られたことに感謝します」ですね。

I remember watching crappy fan subs of NGE back in high school in 1996. It's crazy to this this series has been around for more than half my life

@@amuroray9115 No, high speed internet wasn't wide spread back them. Only universities, some high schools, large companies, and some people in major cities had it. Everyone else was on dial up. A guy in the anime club in my high school knew some people in Japan that did fan subs so he got them to mail VHS tapes of the show that they had subbed and converted to NTSC.
