In the final game, P2 was very close to a successful counter. P1 would have had time to do something, but depending on on RNG, could have been looking at a good comeback. But no trigger. Nice match!

Thank you! Of course this run is quite old so I don't have all the specifics in mind but in the description you'll find the reason I could do this 16 chain so seemlessly: the RNG was setup so I would get a specific color distribution which I practiced to get this chain. If I missed my timing at the very beginning I would get another distribution and just reset (since I couldn't find a better chain with it) or sometimes I would select the wrong first opponent which would alter the distribution as well. Anyway, nowadays I would have ideas on how to find the best possible chain since the distribution is known, but I can't record new runs on my laptop (for some reason, the emulator and the recording software make my computer crash :( )

I think on Switch you have the basic Puyo Tsu game, this mode is accessible on the Super Puyo Puyo Tsu Remix game on SNES. So I think you have to get a cartridge for your SNES or emulate it...

Read the description it was a RNG manipulated chain. He did a series of inputs to get a specific order of colors and exploited it to get a perfect chain.
