the band with drummers whom gave birth to Killing Jokes’ beat . KJ ( their song Tension & its rhythm might be familiar) went on to inspire everyone from Metallica to Adam & The Ants & many more. I remember the moment that Radio Luxembourg released the news that John had quit. i had recently or was about to be given Hey! as an xmas present . My older brother & me were sad cos we thought the band was breaking up . He was into Sparks but still concerned bless him .

maybe im just old fashioned but i loved glam rock!! all those gorgeous guys in jazzy gear sure got me dancing!! (not gary glitter though he was a twat!) but i loved the glitter band XX
