@@Chackothewacko ??? What do you mean? Shifter was activated. Spheres was chained to Evenly, bounce field spell back to hand, Evenly resolves nothing happens then evenly gets banished.

How skilled are the players at these events usually? I want to get back into yugioh but not sure how to start. I had lots of fun playing with subterror behemoth decks a few years back (online only) and that deck would only cost me like $30, but not sure how good it is now.

Hey! You talked a lot about the 1-card Rampengu combo, and said that it can do a lot by himself without playing Colossus. But the only board I can find with only one Rampengu is a single Protos for fire / dark lock. Can you explain a little bit more on want you can end with? :)

What attribute do you call blind for Protos? Fire or dark?

@@Steven-vd1iq so early Swiss rounds I was calling Dark simply because it covers more, but later around like rounds 6+ I was just calling fire and if I was losing die roll and my opponent said u go first I would Protos call fire that happened about 3 times

@@MaliEndz true I agree. Colossus steals games just on his own. I feel the same about Protos a lot of people don’t play Protos BUT I will say I do side it because going in blind sucks because of the wide verity of our format now but even then most times Protos wins games by itself as well.

depends if its elder + canna or elder + pengu, but elder canna goes : Normal Elder , normal Canna, canna banish lara, make ulti canna, defuse into elder canna put lara in gy search old Lara, canna send steeds to banish, make link 2, banish canna summon old lara, lara eff reborn new Lara, make Ulti-Gaia with link 2 and laras, Lara banish eff summon Pengu, Pengu banish Psychic foolish Winda, Make Nochi, Nochi special link 2 from banish, link 2 summon winda and old lara, 2 lvl 4s make Banshee search Flag, flag summon search protos, banshe and lara make SP banish Banshee and reborn her, make link 4 pick Steeds back to hand, summon protos :)

Congrats, but i dont understand how you could get so far when ur deck loses basically to 1 ip into sp. Do you just pray to See your non engine? Cause with only engine u are Losing against a snake eyes board

Nah it doesn’t? If you open let’s say Lara + canna, or elder canna with Lara u can play through more than it looks, also board breakers can bait out the IP very easily, and hey shifter is a card

the guy playing goblin bikers kinda lied to the other player, gabonga can attach a monster on the field when a materiel is detached from a monster on either side of the field as a quick effect, and clatter sploder detaches from the gy to summon itself back and on summon revives one goblin biker from the gy except himself, he doesnt have a search effect to him.

6:24 Imperm doesn’t work there, Chundra’s effect activates at the start of the damage step. In the damage step you are not able to activate effects that would negate effects, only ones that negate activations or modify stat values of some kind … additionally the Tenpai player could have chained any of the dragon’s quick synchro effects to dodge imperm’s negate (if it was a legal play)
