I’ve been a fan since the old days. Like the old old days. Math sheet demo and Philosophical Significance type shit. I was obsessed with these guys for the better part of my teen years. The local legends of them playing Counterparts and It was Fear of Myself live abounded, but I always brushed them off as myths. Wade’s guitar part was too complicated. The timing was too difficult. There had to be some reason why they just couldn’t (or wouldn’t) pull it off. We all assumed it would never be done. I still happily plunked my mom’s credit card info to Ticketmaster year after year with the hopes I might see it. This video means so much to me. Not only does it provide closure to a passion of a life left behind, but it brings me back to a simpler time, and a happier time in many ways. The future was bright, shows were $40 (and it still felt expensive). I was a kid, and I looked up to these guys like gods, partly because there was still so much mystery in the world (think no smartphones, Spotify, or Instagram). Thank you. And they fucking killed it. Holy shit.

@@brendanforrest6546 This comment is insane in the best way possible! I totally feel you, I was there for pre-self titled and can't believe the privilege of being able to see them at both Born and Raised festivals. I'm glad I took the time to capture this, even with security guards over extending themselves.

@@daivanci they put out an announcement that the bassist was taking a break from touring, but was still doing stuff with the band. I think they said he was working on stuff for the Patreon while the rest of the band was on tour?
