During COVID , when everything was expensive AF. I couldn't afford a 2tb or 4tb m.2 because they were all like $220+ even for the crappy brands. I was able to cop a 4tb western digital black for like $90. Honestly it doesn't download as fast as an m.2 but in 3 years I can't remember a time I had an issue. I wouldn't use it for a really demanding game like GTA 6 but almost all the games I've played have been taken off and installed on my western digital black hard drive at some point and I haven't had any problems. Great purchase

Should you use it in competitive fps titles?

I love my Lancool 216, but I've been looking into smaller cases just because I feel like I don't need as much empty space in the case. I'm using a Liquid Freezer III 360mm and 4090 FE on an ATX board & 140mm Seasonic FOCUS GX 1000w, so the D41 looks perfect. Just not sure if I want to go through the hassle of a new case until I upgrade.

I have Jonsbo D31 STD it is pretty good. I like it even more than NR200P or NZXT H510 ;)

@ 10:48 there is a scratch in the paint. Do you recall if this was caused by a hard bump or sliding the panel on the marble surface you built on. Basically I'm asking about the paint quality.

Standard automotive primer doenst etch the paint. And etching primer would etch, but would etch metal not another paint, so you supposed to sand everything to bare metal. In that case you would just lightly sand a bit the original paint and than paint

If you use freesync: (I’m using my 144hz Freesync monitor as an example) Maximum Cap @ 140fps (to be sure NO frames ever leaves freesync range and trigger Vsync Minimum Cap @ 70fps (50% of max cap works best according to AMD themselves). You’ll lose some fps performance (10-15fps ish, for me) but it’s worth it on a high refresh rate monitor if you can get somewhat near maxing out Freesync. Everything feels so much lighter. It’s so smooth that you’ll think you actually Gained fps, no matter if it’s top 140fps or down to 100. Too often i’ve got two second Blackscreens when a heavy spike occure, making the frames to drop out of sync range, and disables vrr for those two seconds. Often during Discord calls with 256kbit/s quality whilst gaming. With Chill, those spikes are no mo’. Only times i dont use Chill this way is when i play try hard mode in fps games. Then i’ll disable Freesync + Vsync and use Chill as pure hard cap (max and min = the same) on a stable framerate i can obtain like 90% of the time playing. Low and stable frametimes!

Bang for the buck is AMD top dog is NVIDIA for performance. Only sad thing is no more EVGA. Good call at the end. DO NOT buy this card if you are running a 1080 monitor. If you do you are pissing away your money. I was running a 3080 at 1440 upgraded to the 4080super and gave my 3080 to my grand daughter and used that as an excuse to go with a 2160 4k monitor.
