@@jonnytheshark Thank you! Even though the apartment is small, there are no 'dead' spots, every square metre can be utilised in some way. A lot can be fit into this place.

@@redgrevillea I have a big hallway and a separate washing room. Not so well planned but it is a home.

When and where did this happy group take place?

Ah, good question. I think this footage may have been filmed at the Newcastle Folk Festival (north of Sydney) in November 2012. We've long since gone our separate ways!

Gibson 1988? June 1988 per chance? My Gibson's finish is so close to yours I have to wonder if they were the same batch in Nashville.

goodaye. what a flashback, last time I saw Doreen performed live was in the 70,s at the old church theartre in surry hills. What a night, ist class , I still play the ep often, its nearly worn out, I still play occassionally with the Festers at the Glengarry, and still love the feeling . Congrats on a great song and band and the ability to make people smile. best wishes Glenn Rollo

Playing in a ukulele orchestra is much more social than woodshedding with a guitar.

Ross, I have -- checked it out, as in looked at a website, but I'm still trying to learn that other folk instrument, the Stratocaster (and other guitars too). For me the challenge is to reach the point where there is a seamless connection between rhythm and lead, Bach and Bacharach, folk and blues, blues and rock, even with Arabic and Indian music. I think it boils down to the combo rhythm-lead style that players like Jimi Hendrix, Nile Rodgers (of Chic), and Ed Bickert (Canadian) on Tele do.

Thanks Terry! Hey, have you checked out the Kala u-bass, a GREAT musical invention! :) (go the fretless, it's better)

Hi there, according to my friend who owns and plays the guitar in this clip: "there is no circuit board in the guitar, unless it is under the pickups I have not taken them out. They are, i'm pretty sure, Bill Laurence pickups,14ohms at the bridge and 7.5 at the neck." Best regards, rb.
