I would like to see what they do running a log lift and a conveyor as well as keeping up the cycle time.

AWESOME video!!! I love how you show the internal components and how they function. Now if you can help me figure out why my throttle isn't working properly (stays in low/idle mode) on my Forest King log splitter.

What a waste of my time. Could you not just split some damn wood to show the improvements....me and Chris, me and Sam...wgaf?

I was thinking very seriously about purchasing this splitter until I saw this video! No way in hell I am buying a log splitter and having to put all of this together? If there is an option to purchase it assembled, please let me know.

If log lift comes first, do i adjust that or just the relief valve for the splitter? The log lift runs fine.

A cord is a cord not true the more air between the wood means a smaller amount of wood fits in the same size box no matter how big or small that box is and each time wood is split smaller if you try to put it back together there will now be more air in between so that one piece of wood now takes up more room . A true cord of wood is un split logs cut to 4 feet long then stacked 4 feet high and 8 feet long then when it is cut and split try stacking it into a 4’x4’x8’ plywood box with one opened side . It can’t be done . Thats how firewood was delivered in Maine 4’x4’x8’ logs on flat bed trucks that stopped in the late 70s now everyone that buys split firewood is buying a lot of air especially if a six way or 8 way splitter is being used .

Excellent video, thank you for putting this out there. It shows those of not very mechanically inclined how the valves work. I would like to know where I can order/purchase the stroke restrictors?? Those look to be pretty useful if you have a big load of rounds that have been cut pretty short. Thanks!

Hey RuggedMade. If I were to make these upgrades would it take my hydraulic fluids temps over 140 degrees a lot faster than standard configuration?

I can do 1 Rick in 30 minutes by myself. So a cord in an hour with 3 people is very doable

I have 16gpm on my Kioti DK5310SE. Would it handle this splitter? Also, will this connect to a quick hitch?
