He may have wanted to work with Gorachyova, but instead was "ambushed" by a creepy pervy stage director who has ZERO RESPECT for Opera or THE VOICE, per se. Too many of those weirdos who can't even get jobs in porn (it would seem) now creeping into Opera... and destroying a great tradition and art. Mattei deserves far better ...
