Very cool interview! I loved hearing Chase describe how the story of John B and the treasure hunt is often misinterpreted, I've never heard him talk about that before. It adds a lot of depth to John B's character.

Amanda did you ever considered to be autistic?
@SummerOf19872 ай бұрын
Of course I always thought that there is something really off with her. Now at 36 I found out that I am actually autistic (late asperger diagnosis) and look at her in a different perspective…

There is a correlation between support for Israel’s genocide and money received from AIPAC. As it stands right now, Maria Cantwell has received $178,200 from Israel. I believe Senator Maria Cantwell will only continue to pay lip service to a ceasefire and a two-state solution which are just hollow words that allow Israel to complete their genocide and the theft of Palestinian land, funded in full by US taxpayers. Vote 3rd party.

That's quite the infomercial, I know that's not what it is but it's kinda turned out to be one. And a very positive one. Hopefully anyone considering doing this but isn't sure gets to see this, literally everyone in the class says it's great...... A can't miss class it sounds like, even I want to go now. Would love to hear orca breathing at night, sounds scary but also very cool. I know they won't kill me but they're still scary because of how big an smart they are.

"I should have realised that they already suspected me then." The 'already' is exactly what a guilty person would say.. nothing she says could feel right to the senses.. but this last sentence (at the end of the video) really stood out to me for some reason. A far more natural and honest sentence would have been "I should have realised that they suspected me then."

She is so intrigued by the normal human reactions of those around her when Meredith's body was found. She's not wired right.. creepy asf
@KardoNewman3 ай бұрын
Let's just be honest.. we are wired to know when something is inherently wrong w another human.. there is something that just doesn't sit right, something that gives us the heebie jeebies per say.. but we distance ourselves from that.. we intellectualise things.. look for words to be spoken that will make sense. I really suggest watching a few minutes of this without the volume on.. there is something so creepy, dark and fundamentally dishonest about this girl. It's disgusting that she's made herself a well paid advocate of sorts.. a victim of the Italian legal system. She is gaslighting the world. It must be so hard for Meredith's family seeing this murderous sociopath everywhere they look.

Did she ever take a lie detector test? If not then if I were her I would do it
@Helenwheels3702 ай бұрын
Why? If she passes, the pro-guilt would just claim psychopaths can pass lie detectors and, if she failed, they'd claim it's proof she's lying. It's a no-win situation for her.

The reason Amanda flipped out when the police asked her about the missing murder weapon was because the missing murder weapon was cleaned and place in the drawer in her boyfriends apt the first time she went back to his... apartment... The embedded confession here is... She says she should have realised she was the prime suspect then.... She did realise she was the prime suspect then....

Most of the comments made below are by people ignorant of the facts of this case. There's a reason the Supreme Court definitively acquitted her in 2015: no evidence places Knox in Kercher's bedroom while overwhelming evidence places Guede there. No forensic evidence and no witnesses can even place her at the cottage the night of the murder.

These comments are an indication of how people can get an idea in their head and go with it , so they see everything through that lens. She barely knew Meredith. They were roommates. Not best friends- although they got along fine by all accounts. She had only shared accommodation with Meredith for less than a month and spent the majority of time with her boyfriend by the time the murder occurred. There's no evidence anywhere of any sex/mind games being played from any of the three. There was nothing to indicate at all, that she was wild, unhinged or engaged in wild sex orgies. (And even if she was any of those things, that does not make her a murderer.) Some may consider that having had encounters with 7 different individuals is excessive at the age of 21 but I would contend it is not abnormal for a 21 year old college girl from Seatle. They used her sexual history to make her unstable and even used her health as a weapon against her. Perhaps one of the worst things they did to Amanda was falsely tell her she was HIV positive so they could get her to write down a list of every guy she’d slept with .They gave the list to the press. & then 2 weeks later told her she wasn’t actually HIV positive. Also, Amanda was not Italian & unfamiliar with Italian laws & the way the justice system works,. They should have automatically allowed her to speak with a lawyer & the American embassy. Amanda wasn't even provided an interpreter & although she spoke some Italian, there was somewhat of a language barrier (exacerbated by stress). She had an opportunity to leave the country shortly after the murder but decided to stay & meet with Meredith's family. Also after Amanda spent 4 years in prison & was cleared of all charges in the first trial, they put her on trial AGAIN (w which would be double jeopardy in the United States). Why? Because they didn't get the answer they wanted the first time. I feel like there was an investigator who got a theory and then tried to make the "evidence" fit the theory, rather than the reverse, and then didn't want to give up that theory because, well, he wanted to be right, and these commentators are buying it.

I do not understand first why she laughs, and second I do not believe their friends didn't say that she was dead when they went to her bedroom. Her reaction is not normal at all in particular if they kill your flatmate and friend. I will be out of my mind finding out something like that! As she isn't, why was she trying to figure out more about the situation than panicking for the murder of her flatmate? Weird ! Weird ! Non believable at all
