The difference in the tone is just because your Gibson has 60/85 while the Epiphone has 85/81. If we set the same pick ups in both guitars will be the same. We need to also concider which type of strings were you using? The body wood is the same, except for the neck wood I think the Gibson is mahogany and the Epiphone is not. Other than that I think to differenciate the sound if BOTH guitars have the same electronic setup and strings will be only possible by listening so very clean arpeggios, probably playing blues or jazz (thing that for sure we will not play with thsi guitar jah)... Anyway, this rocks, I just found one Epi like this online and I'm waitingfor it to be delivered at my place, honestly CANNOT WAIT ANYMORE.

Everyone plays that riff at 1:05 wrong. It's not the same note, and it starts on the first fret and moves down. Watch Danny Spitz play it on the official video.

You're correct! No need to take an appointment to the eye doctor :) The older Gibson models were more round and this epiphone in particular is very round.

For me this Epi was better on clean channel with effect chorus . It was more deeper than Gibson i must say. But situation with drive is a little bit diffrent, because Gibson give us a little more meat 😁
