This song is like a testimony to me, 2018 my mom passed im now 15 and just like the lyrics said " daddys in denial, daddy doesnt want to feel" and so on i havent heard my father mention my mom once in the past 6 years and he just acts like i should move on like nothings happened and live up to the expectations of a perfect and happy daughter with women that seem to "care" no one can replace a mothers love and care. People are so fake and two faced its depressing to see it every time I come home. Maybe one day I can fix our broken pieces. Even when life is tough we still need to have hope and live on our own time,to heal and move on.
