"Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" How much hubris does it take to accuse God that His creation is a sinner? And an "angry God?' Do we really want to attribute human weaknesses to an incorporeal being?

What a joke. They scared the BeJesus out of everyone. We all thought it would be over soon. Then I found out the earth is 4.55 billion years old. No, my friends, the earth is not going to fade away, but Christianity will. In 400 years, it'll be gone, just like Mythricism and many other old religions. Seriously, Malcolm and Alwyn must be embarrassed. No return is going to happen, ever. People will be here in 2000 years. The Jesus God is like a girlfriend who says she will meet you at 6 for dinner, but doesn't show up, so she says it'll be 7. You keep waiting. She doesn't show up the next day, or the next year, or a decade later, but you're still sitting there. That's God in a nutshell.

I loved this song when I was young. Then I realized, no amount of blood could take away my wrong doings. Only I could do this by apologizing to the people I had hurt

The Jesus Movement. Glad that's over. This movement screwed me up in the 70s. I spent the next 30 years holding onto it. When I finally realized there was never going to be a rapture, I realized I had followed a weird cult. But, I still like the music. Christianity is like a rotten girlfriend from the past that you really did have some good memories with. Its okay to reminisce about her, just as its okay to reminisce about the peace of the 70s and how beautiful and calm and happy people were back then. We've devolved. I don't believe in Christianity, but I'd follow it today if it got us back to the 70s.

This is one of the greatest albums ever. All the songs so glorify our living GOD, songs are so upbeat, like this one, that you can only rejoice and be so glad. So glad I found this album after 30 years looking for it. Thank you GOD for our JESUS.

But at Jeremiah 7:31 our Heavenly Father himself states that he has never thought, considered or expressed the idea or desire of burning humans in fires and was deeply disturbed by the parents who were burning their children alive to false gods.

Stay away from Calvinism. There are always time for introspection, a need for daily repentance and modification of the flesh. Now go to private confession and receive holy absolution for your wickedness and return to your baptism. The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.

edwards claims an arbitrary will of God to be the determiner of when and if a person goes to hell & he denies any obligation God has set for Himself to be good, righteous, pure, etc.

Definitely an historical figure. But his notion of eternal damnation in hell and going to heaven and hell directly is not consistent with the New Testament. These preachers like the Catholic Church say this in order to dole out penance through sacraments and get rich and manipulate men. This is not correct. When Jesus returns all will be born again and then the decision to go to heaven (an earthly paradise not some ephemeral cloudy world) will go to some and the many will die once, not eternally in Hell.

I was on the bridge one Sunday in the mid 80's. Traffic was backed up all the way from Revere. I asked the person in the toll booth if something happened. She said "You didn't hear? A 747 had to make an emergency landing on the bridge" She got me good for about a half second 😂

Jesus christ is merciful kind but he like all of us when angered he can destroy. HE hates sin 1 or 100is a sin to him is the same .God doesn't love everyone he doesn't love children of the Devil he has children. And if not with christ you are his children. IF you wanrt proof of his wrath it was the Floods of Noahs all destroyed. THE only family of Noah was saved and Noah tried for 120 years begging and God warns before he does something and in Noahs days no one listened. NO ONE repented no one and Noah cried when the Arc door was closing and Noah said to God they are banging at the door. AND God said to late .its like those cruise ships 🚢 that leave at 6 pm sharp .And see people begging for the ship 🚢 to stop to late .Once you miss the boat 🚢 thats it .And they say history doesn't repeat it self it does .Has the world 🌎 learnt now in this world 🌎 Jesus christ doesn't want anyone to perish and has now sent the same message to the world. TO go across the 4 corners of the world 🌎 and that has happened. THE bible like any book there is a beginning and a Ending and we are getting to the last pages the Ending. And as it is written all bible profecy will be fulfilled. And you are part of that book story and you are the one that is deciding your Ending. FREEWILL to choose between God or the Devil 😈 Heaven or Hell. IIT wasnt designed Hell for us it was for the Devil and his demons they cant be saved but we can .And jesus christ died to save and you end up in Hell which means a separation of God. YOU walked yourselves there .Because paradise was offered to you .His world 🌎 his kingdom his rules .And God is very much in charge. AND now they.are saying those words peace and safety. THE time is near God works in order .And no one knows the Time or day .Jesus christ is no longer knocking hes banging like someone that is really angry. TO get your attention because he doesn't want you to perish. FEAR God ido and the Devil 😈 he knows Gods wrath and fears it .The mere mention of jesus christ name he trembles. AND God is a just God he has to be .FEAR GOD he dosent lie and cant lie .He keeps his promises. ITS Faith Grace 👑 that saves you 🙏

The wrath of God...none can fathom, nor can anyone bear it - yet it is the judgement set, ready to be implemented unto those who rebel against God... What a weighty & heavy sermon, yet truthful - I too...like him, would shed tears while sharing this.

I want to encourage hearers to turn to Hebrews 10:30. This verse in Deuteronomy 32:35 is referenced there. NOTICE!!! the last part of the verse, 'The Lord will judge His people". This sermon is correctly applied to the unsaved BUT the "believer" is view in context! In Hebrews, because of persecution, some were denying Christ, and "back sliding": turning away from Christ. I am Baptist, so i am not teaching that salvation can be lost, but i am begging all to examine themselves, there are so many non-committed unbelieving "believers" today, that as a pastor, i can not teach what i would. Not because i would lose a job but that the babies in the pews get easily frustrated. A mature believer is a follower of Christ Jesus WHO CAN FEED HIMSELF on the meat of the Word. AND who leads others to being born again in Christ.

Sin is the transgression of the law and what humans do and rebellious humans think they don't. Don't be deceived less you die in your sins. Repent and believe in Jesus Christ who paid the price for all sins with His blood.
