❤❤❤❤ Thanks to the generosity of Carolyn Scott, Donors, Volunteers and Employees this home exists for parents such as myself. Being a widow with limited income I am blessed for this hime away from home. It takes away the stress to be near my son during his heart surgery and recovery / hospital stay.

The fact he's been battling cancer for 3 years straight and looks as healthy he does is amazing. Yes, I know that looks can be deceiving but usually bthe end of a cancer battle (whether it be a winning or sadly losing one) they're understandably very physically diminished and look that way, whether it be them weighing hardly nothing from the weight loss or completely bloated from the stereoids. He doesn't at all

I just see now that this video is three years old. I hope this amazing young lady and her husband have kids already and that she is doing great. She got a 1 in a million doctor with Dr. Columbo he is part of their family. I hope she found a worthy replacement for him.

She had a long recovery her senior year and beyond in college but I’m proud to say that she’s about to graduate with her masters degree in occupational therapy, something she had to receive herself after her illness. I’m so very proud of my daughter! She has overcame so many obstacles and hurdles like a champ! As a family, we still absolutely LOVE children’s hospital in Omaha and Madison’s younger siblings all go to this hospital and their speciality clinics in Omaha.
