Ok, so, I'm a very strong critic of islam, but even I can infer what those passages in the Quran are referencing. The passages about a star is quite obvious - it's not referencing a meteorite, it's referencing the celestial sphere as it rotates throughout a full day. It is grammatically common, even in the Bible, to reference a singular subject matter, such as "a star", instead of "the stars" or "all stars". Just as a star traces it's path through the night, disappearing under the horizon, and returns the next night, following the same trajectory, not diverging from it's path, so does mohammad stay true to his views (or whatever was the exact quote, obviously this is a paraphrase). That's what this is alluding to. Quite obvious. So it was somewhat sophist of this sheikh guy to not extrapolate on that (unless he wasn't bright enough to catch it himself!). As for the stuff about the moon, and the etymology of the word "allah", that is a much more sound argument. I personally like the moon very much, and I can see how a spiritual system round the moon can form. But as for islam, they could only wish to have something as tangible as our lunar body in their mythos! 😆

generally, the Star Surah is trying to teach that normally when one travels at night under a clear sky, certain key stars seen in the night skies, are used as seasonal navigation reference guides for which direction one is headed, to avoid getting lost, especially on featureless barren desert landscape with no distinct rocky markers available but as soon as those key reference guide stars set down below the horizon, one must take note of the direction, which direction one must go, when daytime comes around, to continue one's journey, without getting lost in this Star Surah, it boasts about Muhammad's superior navigation skills of having his god Allah guide him, even when no star is visible to help him continue whatever he is doing (even though it's not really about traveling in the desert by star navigation at all) it's just a silly "bragging" Surah praising Muhammad knowing what he's doing by guidance of his god Allah, without any other thing assisting him using a star example, where a star goes down, and no longer available to a night traveller, which normally cause them to stop moving, till daylight, to continue again insinuating Muhammad doesn't need anything to help guide him, but his god Allah alone if ordinary Muslims don't understand the purpose of the Star Surah, then they don't know it's just a surah intended to laud the superior attributes of Muhammad's helpful guiding god, Allah
