I had snails hitchhike into my aquarium and was upset at first, just because everyone calls them pests, I came to love them because they're fun to watch and they kept the tank clean. Then I discovered assassins and my great snail population is now down to just a few, bummer. I've been pulling the assassins and giving them to a friend, hopefully my good snail population comes back.

I saw some videos where they have a whole swimming section hit here all you have is a water bowl. I'm confused about whther a pixie needs an actual area where he can swim or whether a bowl is enough?

Adding a few well placed pics in post would go a long way. For instance, what the substrate looks like after the hand scrunch test, what a proper enclosure looks like, how to clean the enclosure and know it's clean, feeding, the varieties of frogs as he's talking about them, what they look like as they start and during hibernation and maybe even his favorite animals.

It’s crazy that so many people use the blanket “exotic pet” label and assume everything covered in that category has similar (unsuited to captivity) requirements without actually looking at the animal’s requirements in captivity. Obviously there are some animals that really should be banned as pets (all primates, large crocodilians, anything in genus Panthera, etc-if it’s too large for most people to house adequately it probably should be banned), but just slapping a blanket ban is a dumb idea.

Every producing fruit fly culture I've gotten from Josh's Frogs is FULL of mites. More mites than flies. Never had this problem with any other brand. And your bottle fly pupae just never hatch, are you aware? Take better care of your feeders

I fed them to my anoles and my tree from years ago... I found all 4 at ft. Benning GA... They were at my door when temp dropped, so I kept 3 anoles and a green tree frog all together in a corner mirrored cabinet I turned into a home for them... They lived for more than 5 years until I had to change posts, I gave the set up to my neighbor... Now I'm obsessed with jumping spiders!!😂

Dude, that Sonoran literally ran towards you! What did you give to that little guy? 😍 My millies are rather shy, idk if they are more reserved or still need to warm up on me. Does anyone here actually know whether millipedes have a long memory?

Does this also help with plants? Function as grow light as well, in other words?
@grief878Ай бұрын
it has grow lights however in terms of the adjustability unless you have a solar meter the ferguson zones are unknown in increments of uv percentage, not only that but they say u can adjust the uv level with the cycle and it will ramp up to your preset settings with the daylight cycle thing and it ended up not maxing at the 10% i had it set and and my crested geckos got about the same uv levels a bearded dragon should be getting for a week, on top of that when you contact customer support about the product they don’t have a clue about how it works or end up going quiet and hanging up the phone. good luck
