Absolutely beautiful music! I have to return to play the far cry series again. I've only finished 3 as of now, but I started 4 last year and got the ending where you wait for Pagan Min to return. Time to replay!

What I love about the far cry 5 music is it’s slow progression throughout the game. In the first region (John) the music is more upbeat than all the others, while Faiths is a representation of how now the Cult is taking it seriously, seeing this as a real fight now. But Jacob’s region show the sheer desperation on both sides trying to kill each other and it’s SUCH a good way of silent storytelling

this is something probably no one cares about but me, but this track and Combat 5 from Chapter 12 share the same drum "leitmotif" if thats what you want to call it. the game is full of these reused drum patterns for thematic coherence but i feel this is the most obscure.

These are just the drum stems for the main track. I dunno if I'm remembering correctly or not but I'm sure you can hear this by itself at some point during this chapter but it was brief.
