Everyone would understand Mabel a bit more considerating that both Dipper and Mabel were going through their parents' divorce (that's why both act the way they acted along the 2 seasons)

Mabel nearly caused the end of the world over her inability to grow up and let her brother become what he wanted to be. Not only did she stop him from getting a good career before turning 18, she pretty much gave the entire town nightmares over her tantrum. This is why I despise her.

i understand why everyone hates mabel, she's so manipulative in this scene and almost got the world destroyed twice because being rational doesn't cross her mind even once

she's a 12 year old and her only family members that live in their home are her parents who apparently argue a lot. also ford was too stupid to not tell anyone else about the rift. how was mabel meant to know that blendin would be bill(they have never interacted before)and she had no idea what the rift did.

I wonder how bill even possessed Blendin even with the background no knowledge from the book of Bill, bill possessing Blending and breaking the rift then showing bill creating the apocalypse was a great twist!

After reading the book of bill, its honestly even more heartbreaking and understandable. Dippers and Mabel parents were going through a divorce amd Mabel would've had to go home to a unhappy family.

Mabel was acting a bit selfish. Dipper has given up a lot for Mabel. He gave up his perfect timeline for Wendy and Robbie not going out so Mabel could have Waddles. He gave up his job at the pool to help Mabel and the Mermaid guy. He also helped Pacifica when he didn’t want to so Mabel and her friends could go to the party. I get where she is coming from, but for once she could think about Dipper and not herself.

There is a critical lack of context here: - Mabel had just found out that high school wasn’t as nice as she thought it could be; - Her friends wouldn’t have been able to either participate to her birthday nor to say goodbye when she had to leave Gravity Falls; - She would have had to leave Waddles behind (according to a deleted scene); - The parents were going through a divorce; - And then Dipper, the person she trusts the most and who has always been there to face any challenge together, decided to stay in Gravity Falls. No wonder Mabel reacted like this. She felt so alone and scared and unsure about her future. This is the kind of situation that would break _an adult_, let alone an emotion-driven preteen.

Notice the body language and how Bill has Blendin's left hand behind his back clenched in a fist while the right hand is reaching out to Mabel. It's such a good portrayal of how "Blendin" is hiding the truth for his ulterior motive.

How when one twin is happy, the other is not. Like in time travelers pig, Mabel gets Waddles and is happy, meanwhile Dipper hits Wendy in the eye and doesn’t make in time to her with ice and then sees Robbie asking her if she’d wants to go out with him. But then after Dipper finally doesn’t hit Wendy in the eye, Mabel didn’t get to Waddles in time, and now she is upset. In Sock opera, Mabel is having the puppet show to impress Gabe, but Dipper’s basically a ghost in the mindscape. That’s what happens in this episode.

This moment is even sadder after the Book of Bill. Dipper was the only person Madle felt like she could rely on to help her through their parent's divorce, then Mable realized he was going to leave her to face it by herself.

Doesn't matter how many times I rewatch this scene, the laugh at 3:46 before it cuts to the end screen always sends a chill down my back.
