The most gratifying part of this is the fact that Michael Jackson approved. Whatever else you say about him, he had a sense of humour and wasn't so far up his own backside as to realise that Weird Al is about parody, not insulting the source. I once read that a reporter asked Weird Al how he managed to imitate MJ so well but still manage to have it look awkward and funny. WA replied that he knew he wouldn't have to try to parody the dance because he could do his best to imitate MJ exactly and it would come out looking weird and awkward anyway.
