Tanks are not obsolete. When a city or town needs to seized they are Paramount in orchestrating such objectives and as long as one country has tanks, we will all have tanks.

The command was actually "fire and adjust, On The Way!" It was also the Lieutenant coming over the radio commanding the whole platoon to fire at the same time. It's called a "Top Hat"

Seen a question if ya ever get to sleep, I’ve never had the honor of serving, however I’m a snow removal loader operator and our moto is we go home when we see wet blacktop if it’s icy or snow packed roads we stay till it’s wet blacktop! Our machinery runs on diesel we run on coffee and Monster energy!

Drivers and loaders are the lower ranking soldiers in the tank. As you rank up, Sergeants are gunners and some Tank Commanders. Mostly Staff Sergeants and Sergeants First Class are Tank Commanders. You should always strive to make your way up the ranks to get your own tank.

Grew up on a Navy base and miss getting to actually touch these things once in awhile when my dad would come into port after being out to se on the USS Detroit (AOE4)

@@19-Kilo you've never been on Naval Weapon Station Earle i see. I'm not saying it was a tank storage facility but as a child, i 100% spent time climbing in several historic tanks on base as well as modern tanks at events like the cast off for the Tiger Cruise in 93-ish?
