A friend of mine has had it almost since new. Atleast 20+ years. And it runs great. We had a trip today with two other riders and it keeps up perfectly fine against my xl750. Not on hard accelleration. But otherwise.

I've been having this bad boy for almost 2 years and done over 32k km and it's my first bike It is really vfm and really rider friendly if you are a novice rider. But since it has no abs you need to be careful on breaking. About fuel consumption: It varies from 5 liters to 6.5 (if you are a naughty boy) per 100 km and i'm almost having a milage about 300km now, about the wobble... i didn't see any of that happening Overall i believe i mad a good choice as a first bike and it came out to be extremely reliable so far, I dare say... it's a baba yaga

What an interesting watch! I had to watch a couple of times to try and work out why it is you dissaprove of me and my motorcycling videos. You seem to have a beef with me as I am "not free because of the payments on my motorcycles" - is that your issue with me and my videos? Would really love to have chat with you about this...look forward to your reply.

I use a tank bag with water and other items ,weight is 5.6kg also driving lights , light bar on the front .Adding up to about 9kg extra to the front. If the tank bag comes off it wobbles. Also Yamaha bend bars with bark busters and bar weights. The more weight on the back the more wobble I get. I'm Getting new heavy duty shocks fitted as they needed updating anyways. Will see how it rides and do an update if anyone's interested . Owned 10 years and have done 70K on it.

Actually mine does not wobble at all, so it’s not that all of them do. Get yourself an adjustable windshield deflector, will do the job. I suffered the same as you when I bought it, the deflector made the problem go away. And in order to work on the plugs, no need to take the fairings or tank off. Just get the Honda spark plug wrench, costs around $20.

The toolkit should sit under trhe seat (not under the rear rack), that's what the rubber band thing is for, to keep it secure.

The catalytic converter is not part of the silencer, it sits underneath the bike. I have one one of these bikes, they are reliable and comfortable but...they are heavy (200 kg) and very underpowered (only about 55 hp). And yes, the wind buffeting is a problem, even with a taller screen. Mine wobbles a bit, especially when there is stuff in the top box.

I am surprised you called out the gearbox, i think Honda generally makes good transmissions, transalp might be a bit old school but way ahead the "clunky" mess ive encountered on some other bikes ive ridden. And like i commented on another video of yours sir, i dont have a weave on mine and it is bone stock. Are you sure your wheelspokes are all tight? your fork bearings are ok? your multilink is without play? have you tried with stock rear tire size to see if it persists? i dont think a handlebar is gonna remove the weave. I agree the stock mirrors are good. The luggage rack is plastic 🙃
@someguyhondatransalp650
@someguyhondatransalp650 Жыл бұрын
The rear rack is not plastic it is alloy. This is standard original fitment, don't know why uours is plastic, but that not factory fit. You have the 650 or 600??

Ive got one if these in black aswell! It is a model often disregarded by many because of its specifications. Undeneath all that wild 00's plastic is a very conservatively designed machine with a tweaked 90's motor. Its tried and true design that is well thought out and makes a very predictable machine that is easy to ride. It doesnt give anything for free but if you ride it like a bike should be ridden its very satisfying. I agree the buffeting is awful and im trying to see what i can do to fix it. I also find the bike to be a bit (top)heavy. The looks isnt the best but thats not why i bought it, but it has grown on me. Your weaving issue sounds strange, mine less weavy than other bikes ive ridden/owned. Are you sure its not the "natural" weave that all motorcycles will have at certain speeds if you let go off the handle bar? i can probably get mine to weavenif i did that.

Are you mental??? It does 55+ miles to the Gallon touring. It does 0 to 100 kmph in 5 seconds. The brakes are really good. It handles well. I also have a Fazer 600 2003 and have owned all the bikes below. Kawaski VRN 1600, ZRX 1100, ZX9 c2, Zx7r, Zx6 C1 + C2, Suzuki Gsxr 400 1990 import, Gsxr 750 srad, RF600, RF900, Yamaha virago 750, TDM 900, FZR 400, Honda MTX 125, NSR 125, Aprilia Mille 1000 2003. It is clear that experience of having ridden and owned many bike is clear for comparison, So all the 🐓 munchers like yourself talking 💩 as the bike isn't smooth especially on hard when pulling hard through the gears, only touring. Back up what your saying with facts, or you are going to get owned. Peace out🤣

The fact that you make videos about the vfr RC46 not even mentioning that it's the 800, (very correct and detailed for yourself, no1 so no mistake can be made), I will just act like you and make it clear that your bike by association with the VFR 750 is 💩 and again very obvious u have never ridden one.
