Right You Are, doing this act for 20 years I got to the same conclusion. And I believe it's always like that, in the case of big illusion or illusion acts.. the closer the better.. it's like nothing to hide and that short distance generates more impact.

@@nomimagic absolutely, agreed. You know, the pendragons have gotten so much credit and are kind of associated as the king/ queen of sword basket presentation but you guys absolutely dominate them in my opinion. Like you, they are trained in dancing and other Athletics but the character is very vanilla and you guys pull out such eich drama and impact that it's like watching a film or kick ass music video but with an illusion that is very physical and thus reminds the audience that this is actually happening right in front of them. And, your choice to present this as a pain box, sort of a masochistic "give it to me attitude", makes the effect very clear for the audience while providing dazzling visual due to the design of your basket, the in and out sequences, and character interaction combined with the excellent movement. I really can't say enough. Keep crushing it!

@@john-carlosynostroza Thank You John so much. OFC The Pendragons were one of our inspirations and masters to watch and follow. Especially their suspension, we had no idea they were performing with neon as well. OFC we have a piece of different equipment I need to mention. We still love them. But.. I came up with my Box of Pain, a combination of a few disciplines after I have seen a different magic act performed by Tim Kole and Jenny Lynn. And to be honest with You the most money I made during my carrier was with the Box of Pain act.It's extremely difficult and mostly impossible to be done by someone else. Even the smaller girls I have worked with could not enter the box.( I am 185 tall) All the things You said are so in point, You really got this illusion like it is. My idea was to create a piece of magic, a specialty act that people could watch like a movie scene. After covid 19 got me twice, and all my smooth muscles issues I had to brake with Box of Pain for a while.. but next year I finally will hit the stage with a new version.
