I come with my experience, first ST2 in 2018 bought at €6500, resold after 4 years 4 years = 4 years of problem, I will say what has not been changed: the frame, the saddle and the handlebars. Everything else has been changed, mostly under warranty (engine, front wheel, fork bearing, battery, motherboard, ...). Personal cost = not covered by warranty ~3000€ (without consumables), that's expensive per km Don't forget that every time there is a problem you are without a bike :( Several months out of 4 years in the garage :( Not finished, too stupid (I thought it was the Monday bike) I bought an ST3 Pinion in 2022 (it's not yet 2 years old today). The bike already has a problem in the store I came to pay for it: the front headlight flashes, the brakes are mounted upside down (left to right and vice versa). The motor, the OMNI, the torque sensor, the front wheel, the front headlight were changed under warranty. Not finished yet :( Last week the OMNI was changed, at the same time as a spoke (means that the new wheel still needs to be replaced), total loss of assistance (with a bike of + 30Kg good courage) and we add 3 more error codes (loss of all front lights). The torque sensor has been changed, the spoke replaced and the light problems are currently being looked for. The last one, today: total loss of assistance (again) Stromer has a serious problem, no more motherboard (so it hasn't been replaced yet on the ST3), no more torque sensor. Customers are waiting desperately to get their bike back, well damn me too :( I can't advise you to buy a Stromer or you leave it in the living room to look at it. Imagine that you still have it after the warranty!!!
@cerebralpalsybiker7571Ай бұрын
Question what ST2 did you buy? was it the st2 sport funny you you put the price of a belt but the st2 belt drive didn't come out in till 2021 and you said you bought it in 2018 so st2 sport then? I have a st1 a st3 and a st3 pinion with no problems. No offense but I think you're working for either a another bike company or you want a stromer and you wish you had a stromer and you picked a wrong bike but maybe I'm wrong but your story doesn't seem to add up my friend I can't look you up can't see your page or anything I've had this done before with no proof and why would you buy one have a problem and then buy another One why wouldn't you just sell it and I know you can sell it.

What is your cruising speed on flat road?
@cerebralpalsybiker75712 ай бұрын
Well on this trip about 15 mph to 28 mph. Sometimes slower on relaxing road trip. But when I ride to work 28 mph. The stromer's have a torque sensor so the harder your put the power down with your legs it gives you more asset. Hope that answer your question. I will said this the stromer's bikes are so smooth that you feel like you are super human. And the best thing about the stromer's it kinda tricks you to work harder but so enjoyed that yes your heart will be beating your legs at first might cramp. It all depends on how hard you want push your legs. In short one of the best bike I ever rode and I have rode some really good bicycles and motorcycle that I love and stromer is right there a awesome bike. Hope that my response wasn't too long.

To me, simply not having to deal with a chain and derailleur makes this bike worth it. If having to set the cadence makes the ride feel too unnatural, I would just choose manual and enjoy quick, smooth, quiet, low-maintenance shifting and still view it as a big upgrade.
@cerebralpalsybiker75713 ай бұрын
Thank you for your input. Really you are taking a moment to ask yourself about this bike. It is a cadence sensor and yes if I remember it’s a 96 points which seems a lot better than a lot of cadence sensors bikes but it is still a cadence sensor. And if you have any questions or problems you can’t go to the bike shop where you bought from cuz you have to buy online only for the most point. On paper it’s seems good or by video? But can you go see it feel it and ride it before you buy this bike for the most part no. But keep doing your research to decide. But once you by it it’s yours if you like love or just like wow this bike doesn’t fit me in anyway.

Also it’s a good idea because some class 3 e-bikes with PAS can hit 30mph. Tailwind and incline could even speed you up faster. This is traffic speed in a lot of cities/towns and at these speeds the same could happen to an ebiker as a motorcycler if a driver hits you it wouldn’t be a lot different except the e-bike is even lighter so you may or may not go for quite a ride. And also, I really like my motorcycle gear so this is all just my justification for buying it. I’m considering getting licensed to ride motorcycles although I’ll just rock my e-bike I don’t have any plans to buy one. Not this year at least.

BTW: this seems curious because US supercar drivers come to germany to drive fast because of restrictions in the US. Isn` t it funny?

Well thank you yeah come on over anytime it's really awesome and the Amish country even the trails in Ohio. And in the states. And that's awesome that you're from Germany! I consider Germany my second home. Yes I think it is funny that we're restricted on speed limits here in the US and they go over there to go as fast as they can or at least enjoy the car that can go that fast and that the e-bikes here not yet are restricted. Thank you for watching and I'll keep recording and keep making videos.

I would said yes St1 st3 and a maybe on the st 5. But STROMER doesn’t make a comfort style on the ST5 or on the ST seven. But I did ride an ST five chain driven. That was a medium size. Thank you for the congrats.. !.. Stromer has been leasing bikes in Europe for a while but it is a car replacement.. You make a really good point, with obesity and obesity related illness being a problem companies are looking at health related subsidies to lower their insurance premiums.. I believe you could also use a HSA to buy fitness equipment like a bike hence making it tax free. .. Keep making great content.. also.. interesting to see Stromer develop their solid state battery.

But it is STROMER so like next year we could see them?I’m betting probably it’s gonna be five but I’ll keep up-to-date on that and I’m gonna look up that HSA is like a really cool project or program. Lots of Good Points mate! Your first one, "what's it doing on such a small bike", I agree I was kind of taken aback to see the Pinion on a Lectric. I couldn't put a finger on it In my video, I kept thinking "who is this bike for??". Because Lectric buyers want a value priced ebike. And the ONE is supposed to be for commuters (who might not be interested in pedaling and shifting). Hub motors are already great for commuting. But the Pinion is a fancy expensive component, that enthusiast and hardcore cyclists would be interested in. Yes a beginner rider can take advantage of it too, but its enthusiasts who are generally interested in that luxury componentry. If someone doesn't understand the value of a piece of technology on the bike, they probably won't be willing to pay for it, even if its a very fair price. You have to understand the Gearbox and it's purpose, to be willing to drop the money on it. So to put the Pinion gearbox on such a tiny ebike, that isn't going to be pedaled often, with a target market of first-time ebike buyers and value priced ebike buyers who might not be interested in pedaling and cycling... people who don't even understand what the gearbox is, IDK? It seems like someone at Lectric tried a Pinion gearbox, slapped a Pinion on a Lectric, and built it backwards from there. I like that they are doing it, i hope it's successful, it's great they have a luxury gearbox component on a value priced ebike. No one else is doing that. But again there's just something about it, the Pinion on a Lectric, that i'm struggling with, Lol. Cant entirely put a finger on it, or put it in words, thats the best i can explain it Lol. I agree i think people riding this bike will be relying on the throttle a lot, which is kind of a bummer when its got such a nice gearbox. If you're gonna throttle around, you don't really need a gearbox. 20 inch wheels are for kid and BMX bikes IMO lol. not pedaling. The 20" wheels can work fine with hub motors and ebikes, but when it comes to pedaling not really. My Aventon SINCH was never good for pedaling and I got pedal strikes all the time because its such a low ground clearance. I couldn't lean that bike at all while pedaling, or they strike the ground. The Lectric ONE and many 20" bikes are the same low ground clearance... not super ideal for pedaling. Good points I am still thinking about this Lectric ONE a lot , Lol.
