any issues putting completely dot 4 in my sportster instead of dot 5 ?

Preston is clear DOT 4 so isn’t the blue bottle crapped it Walmart sells that’s DOT 4

Man i liked the brake fluid video. Would love to see more simple breakdown videos. Some of things that experienced riders and more mechanically inclined people may find boring. For new guys that wanna know how to do a little work on their own bikes the straight forward basic stuff is awesome.

Your wrong! never ever install Dot 5 fluid in a system that had dot 3 or four! It will start a chemical reaction that will cause the fluid to jell! To change one fluid to another the system must be dissembled completely, All metal parts must be cleaned with alcohol and all rubber parts must be replaced including hoses.

I have had one on my Road King for two years and I love it. Just be warned you can’t park in gear to keep the bike from rolling on a hill. At rest the clutch is always disengaged. They give you a Velcro strap to hold the front brake for parking on a hill.

Proclaim to be exactly what they are not. Willing to sacrifice veterans for their image in the MC community. They hide behind a patriotic facade using terms like “brotherhood”. I believe they must understand the terms meaning, but they selectively apply it in some cases and blatantly disregard in others. Their concern for the welfare of veterans is subjective and a means to an end. Clearly they do some beneficial pro veteran activities. But that doesn’t erase the stains of throwing certain veterans off of the roof. They are quick to point out that they are a MC first and foremost and that is truly their primary focus. Thus, veteran issues are peripheral and a convenient vehicle to bolster support from the naive and/or create/maintain a smoke screen with. Why this critical review? You see, I’m a 22 year combat arms veteran, retired, honorably separated. By the Membership Qualifications listed on their page I meet the qualifications for consideration. But, because I have law enforcement affiliations the Warrior Brotherhood wants nothing to do with me and were very quick to point that out. Speaks volumes about the frugal and selective value they put on service. This group is NOT what it appears to be. Vets who know the meaning and value of brotherhood should go to the CVMA or Legion Riders.

I just had one installed on my Thunder Mountain Keystone Chopper at Sturgis this year! It's only for first gear starting/stopping. But it is awesome! The bike is so much more manageable in stop and go traffic now! You still use your clutch to shift into and out of all other gears. But it sure is nice to not pull the clutch in during low speed traffic. And for those who commented about possible malfunctions... You don't understand how it works. It can't malfunction. It's centrifugal. The clutch operates based on RPM. As the RPMs increase, the clutch automatically engages. It's basic physics. One thing to be careful of is if you're like me and you pull in the clutch to blip the throttle while lane splitting to alert cars to your presence... If you release the clutch the bike will lurch because you raised the RPMs. Just be aware.

These were really meant for enduro bikes, extreme terrain riding where stalling gets you hurt. The amount of low rpm torque Harleys have....this is laughable. Its so easy to clutch a HD. You should learn motorcycle riding skills before buying one of these.

We take care of our own, odds of survival dont enter into the equation, we go down then we go down together. Its a never ending fight, we took an oath that did not have a time limit, only the contract did. We all put the uniform on volunarilly so I have no reason to brag but for some when they take it off a new fight starts and nobody understands that like a fellow veteran so we need to just continue supporting each other. We was all we had then and we are really all we got now...just sayin.
